Exactly both were suffering but couldn't communicate coz they misunderstood each other and grieved in their own way. I think they married too soon. He didn't know she was a rich heiress and she did everything to marry him bcoz she desperately needed someone like him in her life coz she was alone in her own family
I think she was devastated and didn't know how to process that emotion. That's why it took a toll on their marriage
This scene hits close to heart. I experienced miscarriage last August at 12 weeks. I thought time helps me erase n heal those memories and never tell anyone even my husband my pain of losing, but this scene just broke me down into pieces. Like me going back to memory land!! Only being a mother and wife would feel how precious this show to us.
