Yes. You are from Zimbabwe so you might not know what is going on in Kenya. Just a brief, under his regime, Kenya has passed the bill allowing gays to form associations. We don't know what awaits. In 2 years, this regime has borrowed Ksh. 4T in domestic and international loans. Uhuru borrowed 3.7T in his first term (5 years). You can project how much this guy will borrow by the end of his first term. To make matters worst, there has never been any substantial development seen in his first two years term. What we see is politicians affiliated to the ruling party dishing out cash in churches and wedding ceremonies. Thirdly, under his regime, the taxes have been multiplied trifold. We don't object that good citizens need to pay taxes. However, with 4T in 2 years unaccounted for and the extensive loot experienced in various dockets, so much need to be addressed, especially regarding how to mitigate pilferage before anything else. Next, under his regime, the U.S. and the U.K are forcing certain bills under our throats that are utterly controversial. Just to mention a few, farmers will be needed to seek licensure to grow their own fodder crops. Additionally, they will be required to only keep a certain number of cows. Even fertilizers will need to be bought from a few specific people. It's confirmed that this aligns with the larger western agenda for decarbonization and what not.
On tribalism, the whole Kenya Power and Lighting Company's top officials are from his community. Guy fired people from other tribes and installed his tribesmen. This is just an example to paint a stark picture of what goes on in other dockets. Yes tribalism might be primitive, but when it comes to equitable share of resources and top offices, that's where we might draw the line. However, all is not lost. Kenyans are a resilient lot. We complain as we keep ourselves busy.
