- LOVE FEDEX EVERYWHERE FedEx Federal Express Flight department airplanes taking off and taxing by at Memphis Airport. Taken October 17, 2019 in the afternoon. Lots of great action. Boeing, and Airbus and McDonald Douglas airplanes. taken from the cell phone parking lot.
Great for kids wanting to watch airplanes, and FedEx lovers, and people that want FEDEX everywhere.

Even more impressive at night. Maybe zoom out just a bit to capture the angle at which they actually take-off (rubber leaving tarmac) and how they climb at a pitch (must see the ground for comparison) passenger airliners would otherwise surely fling anything and everything not properly strapped-down TIGHTLY (like bags under seats). LoL Lived in Memphis 12 years. Husband was with the Marine Corp for 10yrs; FedEx until he retired; and is now with Southwest in Dallas.
I'm originally from HI, but tell everyone I do miss Memphis. Like many cities, it has a LOT of crime ... but being aware and prepared allows one the ability to enjoy the many unique charms of this beautiful area. 🥰

As a kid in Memphis my grannies house was right behind the 240 Expressway and would stand on the back porch and watch the planes fly over especially the fed ex planes
