If you had upgraded it to xx3, it would've been able to attack the DDT, and therefore able to decamo it

Left most number represents the top path, right most number represents the bottom path, and the middle number represents the middle path. In the example I gave, X means any number from 0 to 5 on the top path, 2 is representing the second upgrade on the middle path ninja (counter-espionage), and 0 represents no upgrades on the bottom path (since you can't have upgrades on all 3 paths without mods). Hopefully, this cleared it up.
