Made me cry a bit... well... a lot.
As someone that has played football all my life this is what its all about making someone the happiest in the world and what them kids did for him is the greatest gift anyone could give him I am sure.
I'm not a foot ball player but if I was making a kids wish come true would mean more to me then winning a game. Winning is not always about which team has the higher score, Its about sportsmanship. If you have not but had the higher score in my eyes you didn't really win.
Congrats to both teams, solid young men in this world!
who would dislike this are idiots ! Live your dream and stay strong
This was so touching. I cried as I watched. You have a wonderful blessed family. i too have an autistic son with cerebal palsey. may God bless you all.
Nice to know there are people still out there with such big hearts. Very touching.
I like how the other team cheered him on too.
Great video... thanks for the inspiration and the reminder of how beautiful life is. My hats are off especially to the opposing players who cheered and congratulated with such enthusiasm. They'll soon forget the scores and stats from their games, but will never, ever forget being a part of a moment like that.
Well, that was just amazing. Way to go Michael and all the Mustangs. And way to go Shamrocks. Both teams are obviously made up of quality young men and this video is a tribute to all of them. And the coaches are to be commended. How wonderful it must feel to know that you're coaching players with this kind of character and integrity! Thank you, Ostrowski Family, for posting this truly inspiring video. And may God bless Ryan and his family.
Such a great act of sportsmanship by players from both teams! God bless them all!
What an amazing video. If you have kids or not (i do) your heart races and you feel every emotion you have. What a wonderful brother and terrifics kids on both teams . Choke one up to the coaches. God Bless
This touches my heart :) As a mom and a proud football mom all we ever want is for our kids to have fun and feel good about what they do! Bravo to Ryan, his teammates and the other team who understood what sports should be about!
I cried, I smiled. All those ppl took the time to make a dream come true. Wish we were all like that.
Wiping the tears from my face, with all the ignorance in the world that I am use to seeing this just amazed me. Now thats not only true sportsmanship but a great job to all for showing the heart to let him play, but to score also. I rarely comment, but with such posativity would be wrong not to. Thanks for sharing this, wish the best!!
What a tribute to both teams and coaching staff to help Ryan fulfill an awesome dream. Nothing displayed here but true sportmanship and encouragement from everyone. I loved the smiles on EVERYONE'S faces as he was running into the end zone. This will forever remain in the memory of these players and spectators who witnessed it. As a parent myself, prayers are with your family and Ryan.
I'm a youth coach for multiple sports and it's moments like this that makes me proud of all that are involved in such an amazing act of humanity. Great job to all. This made me cry and shows me the true meaning of what this thing called youth sports is all about. To Ryans brother, i am especially proud of you, i noticed after you led him to the TD you let him go so that he would have his moment. I also have a great respect to the other team and the coaching staff.
Wow, Ryan, you made my day by bringing me tears of joy!!!! I love you and wish a very fulfilling life for you. All parents of the children in this video should be extremely proud!
Thank you, Ryan.
Love the sportsmanship of BOTH teams. Great video. Thanks for sharing and may God richly bless your family.
I am a 49 year old man with two beautiful daughters that I love with all my heart. I give thanks to God every day for them and that they are healthy. But, I have to admit, I am crying like a baby as I watch this. I am a lover of high school sports especially football and this video truly shows what it is all about. The fact that the brother leads him in shows how strong this family is. God bless Ryan and your team, coaches, and family. You are an inspiration more than any pro could ever be.
this is truly inspiring .... not only the sportsmanship but letting a little boy have his dream .... and that's what truly inspiring ^.^
Fully grown man crying like a baby watching this video. I commend both teams and everyone involved in this. Huge hearts.
This is such an Inspirational Video. This is Truely an Amazing and Wonderful Kid. Made Me Cry, may you and your family be blessed, u guys r ture Heroes.
This restores my faith in young people. Kudo's to both teams, the coaches, the fans and the league. Bless em all. How could someone NOT like this ?
*tear running down face* NO DANG IT! Fight it with gravity! *tilts head and sucks it back up into my tear duct*
Wonderful sportsmanship. I can say this video brought me to tears.
GREAT FAMILY AND GREAT PROGRAM!!!! Its always great to see Coaches and Parents teaching values of Life.
i work with children with learning difficulties or "special needs" here in england, i showed all the other teachers and staff members this video...and there was not a dry eye in the room. autistic kids are just the most brilliant most lovely people, and may i say, massive respect to the other kids in those teams for helping him out! quality!
I rember when my son scored his first touch down it was amazing, seeing this made me cry that boy deserves it good sportsmenship.
I love this! It makes me so proud to know there are people like this. We had an autistic boy who helped out my baseball team in high school and our senior year he became our Prom King as voted by our senior student body which is an upward of 580 kids. It is an experience that I will never forget! Everyone of those kids should be proud to have been a part of this experience! :)
this video touches me a lot. i couldnt even stop the tears coming out of my eyes. good job guys. mind doesnt matter. heart is what matter.
I work with people with special needs and my son is one of them. This video just might be the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. SO MUCH LOVE. Thank you for sharing.
way to go RY.... way to go guys ...
Way to go Ryan!! What an awesome touchdown... Thanks for sharing this special moment of your lives.
The Feys Family
forget the money, the fame, the awards. this is wot sport is all about. live long and prosper mate. from a big, tough rugby player, and you made me cry.all the best ryan.
Wow this is very touching. Sportsmanship should be like this everywhere.
this was great...so touching!.. made me a grown 25 year old man cry like a baby..
omg i was crying this kid makes me think it doesnt matter who you are you can do whatever you want with good people and a great heart :)
I'm balling this is so sweet. The best part is when you see his brother helping him in the end zone.
True heartwarming video
I would have loved to be able to play ball with this boy. People who allow kids to do things like this have amazing character and shows that there is still good in this world
i teared up alittle but i like when people are like this and help out kids like him they are really nice people
this is very touching. thank you for posting it
It's rare for kids to show and understand empathy. Bravo to all involved.
Im a grown man and this video has me tearing up like a little girl. With all the bad in this world today, this video shows how amazing people can really be! Congrats Ryan!
My 3 year old is showing signs of autism. I am a high school and youth football coach. Ryan is an inspiration to me and my own family. I pray someday we can celebrate in the same way. Thank you for sharing
i love how the other team even helps him it shows good sportsmanship and this made smile so much im happy that he got to play on this team
This is the most amazing video i've watched on youtube. Great sportsman ship by both teams.
What a great video, I have an Autistic Daughter and I was extremely moved and uplifted by the video.. I am proud of all who participated and wish I knew how to get in touch with that #61 on the Shamrocks. He was one of the last to leave Ryan's side because he wanted to give him a high five to mark his accomplishment. I've been fortunate enough to work with a lot of brave and honorable men and looking at that video I see the next generation has them too.
As a Dad to an autistic son this brought tears to my eyes. Well done to both teams and you keep on going Ryan.
What is so great is seeing all the players after the play congratulating him! Shows two things Us grown ups need to take lessons from these kids and it shows there is still some good in this world.
sometimes its not about winning, but being able to make a special moment for someone.
that made me cry and his team and the other team were just the best team ever
Everybody involved should give a credit. Even the opponent team showed camaraderie. Ryan is a special people, but people behind this scene have a big hearts. Cheers to all!
Congratulations Ryan...you rock !!!
And a special thanks to Ryans brother...the Mustangs...and the Shamrocks....great sportsmanship. Well done.

This is very nice of them to do this for the kid. God Bless.
OMG I have tears streaming down my face right now as the Dad of a child with Autism. Love this video!!!
Every kid deserves a chance. That's amazing. Great kids
FIRST VIDEO TO MAKE ME CRY ON YT!!!! GOD BLESS THEM ALL FOR THIS!!!!
this is true sportsmanship! very very touching!
I was moved by #2 on the green team. Right there with the first kids to congratulate him on the touchdown. Stories like Ryan Ostrowski and Jake Porter are beautiful stories that remind us of what it means to be human and the real power of sports. But these stories are made possible because of the remarkable people like Coach Derek DeWitt and his huge heart and willingness to be a foil in a great story. Props to everyone here, especially the green team. May karma return to you with interest!
That's awesome and what the sport is really about NOT MONEY, NOT FAME, NOR FORTUNE but the true love of the game and just having the opportunity to be with the ones that are family through the gridiron and blood wouldn't make you guys any closer believe me when I tell you this....I'm a U.S. Marine and this makes me smile and reminds me why I do what I do Hoorah & SemperFI-----> THANK YOU RYAN!!!!
It's awesome to see that teems care about stuff like this and have sportsmanship!
The look on his brother, Michael's, face is priceless. That is true brotherly love.
Thumbs up to Ryan and both teams. One dream came true, Thousands more will.
That what sports and communities are all about...this a lesson that none of the players a people who attended the game will ever forget
Everyone deserves happiness, this was such a great video
Videos like this restore my hope in humanity.
Beautiful!!!, Best wishes to you and Ryan, keep on going man!!! Get a big hug from Mexico!
priceless. i applaud both teams for a great display of sportsmanship
This kid is a blessing. Way to go Ryan!
I'm not one who cry's but this brought a serious tear to my eye. Good job Ryan!
He's great! I hope he has a great season and life
this video made my night! we argue about so many things on youtube but here I see 16 and 17 year old kids demonstrating that making someone's day is as good a reason to get out of bed each day than anything else I can think of. and good job East Detroit for showing the world that even with the sullied reputation of our city, we have our moments.
this really made my week not so bad now ty very much for posting
this makes me cry GOD BLESS you RYAN
Beautiful. Just beautiful. This is why it's the best team sport. They are like a band of brothers.
Its nice that the other team.
I shed a tear, I admit. Seeing something like this in the midst of the chaos that consumes this world brings hope.
I work with students and adults with disabilties. This reminds me of one of my students who just recently died. It was always his dream to play football. When I showed Jake (my student) this video, he said I want to be like that boy. Unfortunatly, he never got to. Thank you so much for putting up this video, It is an inspiration to me and all my students. God bless you and you amazing son.
That's so true, weak people can easily be cruel but it takes true strength to show understanding and compassion and hold your emotions for the sake of the cause for this or any other situation
in all my years of playing the game i have never been apart of something like this. i wish someday i can be. truly heart touching.
I'm speechless and tearing up this is LOVE!
I am so PROUD of Ryan, his brother, his team, and the other team! I am an anti-bullying advocate and an educator and unfortunately I see much more cruelty than kindness. Whenever I become disheartened I will remember you and your beautiful family who seem to put no limits on dreams. Thank you for sharing this and I send much love, hope, and happiness from Washington State
BRAVO! This puts it all into perspective. Now that's courage.
what a nice brother god bless your heart
touched my heart , im from compton , im suppose to be rock solid , but when sumthing taps your heart it has this amazing effect on your eyes where water comes out .....yall know what im saying
No kids deserves to be this sick. Thank you to all the people involved in doing this.
I've spent a long time wondering why I became a Marine. I look at my country all fragmented and divided and set against itself, and I have wondered what it is that I swore to defend. Moments like this bring me clarity. I would die for this moment. I would lay down my life for everyone on and around that football field, for their actions are the actions of true Americans, and moreover, Children of God. This is worth defending and I thank God for Mr. Ryan Ostrowski.
That's awesome brings a tear to my eye. Thank you for sharing this video
I also have served this country as both a Marine and a Soldier like 44Dirkman. I could not agree with him more...this is why I serve! Everyone involved in this moment has my utmost respect. I have been to war four times, but that does not compare to the heroic actions of everyone on the field who made this moment happen. And a special hats off to #24....his brother. Seeing his smile as he helped his courageous brother across the finish line was amazing. My heart soars watching this video.
I started tearing up :) Truly a great moment
Get your permission slips out guys, we're going on a feels trip
