    Well done. I have always heard to keep venison dry cold. But when I butcher chickens, turkeys, squirrels or rabbits they go in ice water. Definetely going to do the ice bath for venison. I'd assume the critical piece is to keep the meat below 40 degrees. Thanks for the video. Great stuff.

    I did the same thing years ago and kept an almost empty can of WD40 near the target and would give a little shot to the arrow shaft behind the backstop before pulling the arrow out. Worked well.

    I did this with a full mat and built a 2x4 frame. I installed I bolts so I can move it with the tractor!! It is super heavy lol.

      @@Lugnutz89 I bet it is! Lucky for me the frame is strong I can roll it like a big square wheel and it isn't too bad for one person. But I definitely don't want to do it very often!
