That is correct. You can play the "Direct-to-Video Sequel" where you replace two yellows and a green with Santa, the Hottie, and the Hunk. The Hottie and Hunk can rescue each other as normal. Santa can rescue them and be rescued by them. For Santa to be rescued, it has to be the single brain on the Santa die. The double brain is a gift from Santa (not his own brain), so if that is in the brain pile, it doesn't get rescued.
@@tabletalkreviews But even just one die (Hottie or Hunk) can save Santa or do they have to save him together? Vice versa, can Santa save even just one of the two heroes?
Simone Barbato only one die is needed to save Santa, not both. If you rolled one die showing a shotgun, can it save both of the other two? The rules don't have a clear answer, I would say yes, and others on BGG seem to agree. So if you have the hottie and Santa's brains, a shotgun blast from the hunk will save them both.
This was a really clear and thorough explanation. Keep up the good work!
Looks fun, thank you for breaking down this info clearly.
I read also Santa can rescued from Hottie and Hunk, is write on the instruction, is correct?

The base version looks simplest and most fun...The expansions just add more playtime..
