Any tips on fishing for Kokanee / trout at shaver lake from shore? I’m headed there next Friday

Never caught kokanee from shore, I've always trolled for them. For trout, powerbait in rainbow and garlic always worked for me. For lures, gold kastmaster, gold thomas buoyant, and joe flies usually catches me trout.

What depth and what oz weight

Getting them at 20 to 30 feet. 3oz weight.
