I have wanting to start a brand for a long time now and am taking action I have been on youtube looking for advice and all I see are people selling courses. Thats when I stumbled on this channel The diffrence from Davie and other youtubers is that he legitntly wants to help while other youtubers want there courses sold not all of them but a fair few. @@JoeDoesBiz exactly, I really don’t even understand why everyone literally everyone hates people who sell courses. Sure you can learn how to do the stuff for free but the courses are a fast lane.
I believe many high-value people (not all) after they achieve something or reach a point in their lives want to give back their knowledge or experience and also motivate others. Obviously, you might want to do that by also having an income, depending on how professional you are and how much info you share. So the courses do not seem like a bad thing, but like most of everything, there is a lot of scams, especially on the internet.
Another way to counter your statement, Davie is also a millionaire, why does he bother with UA-cam then?
I love your energy and positivity. You’re not like those Ecom gurus who try to sell us a course and sound too serious. You have a way of making learning Fun. Thank you 🙏🏼

I'm glad you give some book/ web/ apps references to learn the skills needed, because I'm planning to learn everything I need while getting my permit to start a business here (I'm living abroad, so my current visa doesn't allow me to 😢)!
What makes me really nervous about starting a business is that I get overwhelmed thinking about how the tax works, how to handle the finances, etc, when I haven't even started, thus making me hesitant to start. And it's true what you said, that we could worry about these stuffs only after we get the business working!

This is the first time I've heard someone advising people to think practically and be responsible when starting out. Invest small. On my first venture I went biiiiiig and almost lost my shirt. The tears I cried. I steadied my ship only about two years later (last year) so this is in line with what lived experience.
Im 18 and I learn this field from UA-cam because I do not have money for the courses just 600 dollars to start even though I am in an Arab country and some payment gateways are prohibited in the Arab countries, but I found a solution to all these problems. This video helped me a lot to understand things I did not know thank you Davie♥️♥️

When you said "It only needs to work once" you are 100% correct. I had 4 failured stores until I started my current business which is doing well (Not as well as Davie's!).

Your amazing for your generosity. My hope is that when you teach, you understand that most people do not have your money backing, do not have your contacts and most are at the pre school stage of learning. I hope that you are able to teach with a slower baby step approach so that everything can sink in and be understood. Great teachers understand this concept of teaching this way to build the foundation first. Teach as if you were at the start again, had no money and only the drive pushing you. Hi Davie! I started setting up my shopify shop and brand about 1.5 years ago. I built by website, researched product, created my logo and graphics on my own. I admit, I wasted some $ on jumping the gun but I don't regret it because if I hadn't, I wouldn't have made any decisions or made moves. Im at a standstill at this point, juggling EVERY HAT in running my business has my head reeling. I've spent about $1500 on ads and they have returned exactly ZERO in returns.
