I'm almost as detached as you can get from the characters in this film but still found it really enjoyable. I think the animation-twitter element has really blown (and is honestly still blowing) certain elements of this film WAY out of proportion, so it was refreshing to hear some well-grounded and concise takes on the issues being discussed there. Very well put together vid with well executed takes. Keep up the good work, Mint!
"Her red panda fursona," that made me laugh ngl. I loved hearing your take on this film from the cultural perspective. Like usual, another great video! Can't wait to see more in the future, keep up the great work dude.
I would be very interested to see how this one compares to Encanto. As a Latin American, I found it challenges directly the “wrongs” of our general culture. The scene where Mirabel directly confronts her grandmother and the house breaks, and then her grandmother directly seeing her wrongs and making an effort to be better says so much more. I feel this could have been done with turning red, but they, as you said, just continued on without recognizing it. Great video!

Great video!
I found this movie largely boring... With some decent messaging.
I also watched Encanto after watching this. Way better movie.
Well as a Japanese Invader, I agree with most things you’ve said, especially the character design and the Asian culture stuff.
