    I love the design of this watch. Very versatile. Can be dressed up and dressed down. It looks like a field watch but also dress watch. Reminds me a little bit of the Seiko Alpinist.

    Don't talk about Mido so much, people will start looking at them and we will not be able to buy one on sale. I just bought this on sale by the way, was walking by looked at it and said to myself 'that's it' the Mido I was looking for something I can wear with a pair of shorts or a suit.

    I have the anthracite version. Yes I can confirm the dial places the watch way above its price point. All the reference variations are beautiful. The exhibition case back is questionable as the movement is of course pretty standard for the money. However really worth a try. I still think it’s one of the most noticeable Mido designs, even compared to higher level Mido watches

      You have to consider most people buying these entry level Swiss watches are new to watches (I’m one of these people) and seeing any movement is pretty cool. I just got a Tissot Seastar 2000 so basically the same movement but as my first automatic diver I appreciate seeing the movement at all

    I keep coming back to the Multifort Patrimony Blue. The design, the blue of the dial, they're so eye-catching. And the price of these watches is actually quite good. This and the Mido Commander are two that are high on my list, but I think the blue is my favorite of the two.

    I'd like to see a green dial version of this watch. I think the date window should have replaced the 6 numeral. Why do we need the second track sub-divided in fifths? I think these elements make the dial needlessly busy. Still quite nice overall, and for the price.

  • @duncandixon6203
    @duncandixon6203 2 роки тому +7

    I like it. It can be dressed up and down fairly easily. The vintage style along with the mid contrasting between all elements are not screaming for attention but instead just fit in nicely with it's surroundings. It's definitely reached my shortlist. I am saving up for a Casio gwmb5000 right now (for a timeless everyday digital), but this will probably reach my collection at some point.

    Great review on this amazing watch. I use my Mido as my everyday watch instead of wearing my Tudor or Seiko Diver's watch. The Mido is simple and not overly flashy which I also like. I also have not noticed any distortion when looking at the watch and I find it easy to see the time. For an inexpensive timepiece I would definitely recommend Mido.

I think Oris tend to be better finished and quality then the other two here. That being said Mido does present very good value and you can get them around 40 percent off on Jomashop. I really like this watch in particular and if you could grab one for under 600 bucks Id say go for it. But find a place you can go try them on. Really feel it out. Watches are funny. Even at 500 bucks you gotta really love it for it to be worthwhile.

    Yesterday I went to the local store with the desire to buy that watch whit rose gold PVD coating. It turned out to be a complete disappointment.
    First of all, the watch is small, the strap is too narrow for my taste. When removing the watch from my hand, I noticed that the lower part of the strap's leather was peeling off. A very unpleasant situation for the seller. I decided to wait and order another Commander model.

    I ordered one from an AD and had it delivered to their store. I could not have been more disappointed. The unboxing revealed scratches on the back, no crystal cover an a band that was less than new looking. It did have the back sticker and qr code but I was surprised at what I saw. The deal killer above everything above was the dial. I was expecting a blue face dial with a black outer ring and it was just dull. I have read a mountain of reviews on this watch and seeing one in person was such a let down. I have nothing but great things to say regarding the AD. They refunded my money on the spot and were great to work with. I would buy again from them just not the Mido Multifort Patrimony. Even NIB I would have sent it back. for its dull face. Not sure where Im going next brand for a watch.
