Her father is Cuban and Spanish was her first language. She had to vigorously learn English to catch up with her peers and her father died in 2007. She probably had no one to speak it with her anymore and no use for it in the acting circles she was in

Hola bueno un poco tarde esto pero según vi en un video que ella dice que su primera lengua es el español pero por culpa del maltrato que sufrió fue abandonandolo cada vez hasta el punto que solo habla inglés, aparte que la dislexia le afecta un poco en ese sentido, dice que lo entiende pero le cuesta hablarlo

My cousin was born in Mexico Spanish used to his first language when he moved to US he was 2 and has spent the majority of his time speaking English to people so his Spanish lacks a lot he’s not even fluent in Spanish like he hardly speaks it now
@Lana i learned english at 8 was fluent at 10 besides having to use it at very rare ocassions i havent actually used it for the past 17 years and i havent forgotten a word it is ridicolous and stupid to think that you can forget a language you either speak it or you dont thats it theres millions of mexicans leaving in the usa that dont speak spanish in their household nor do they use it in their every day lives and they still speak it its ridicoulous she never knew spanish
