Born in 66, I can just about remember Pendleburys before it bacame Debenhams, and the two way traffic on all the town centre streets except for a few. If only the roads were as quiet now!
I agree with the comments below. Great clips of Shevington, Miles Lane (I used to live there), Shevington Vale, Back Lane and Four Lane Ends before the M6 was built in the early 1960s and the housing development of the mid 1960s. I can just recall that period and your film brings back nostalgic memories of a time sadly long gone. Thank you for sharing your films.

I bet 1 of those fair ground ride has got to be over 4000watts with all those light bulbs
