The critiques were illuminating. It's one thing to see a masterpiece. Quite another to see what is wrong with a lesser piece and how to improve it. One of the most helpful sculpture videos I've seen: teaching us how to see.

Very often artists that can sculpt the human figure well, dont know how take the next step and create a great artwork. They are craftsman but not great artists. Often they are technical trained but they dont know how to let go and play with the form.
