this person is better than other fake tech enthusiasts they don't know shit, i saw some channels saying this has chromecast through which you will be able to control videos and music.. actually it has chromecast so you can cast music from apps to this speaker. and google assistant can control media playback on supported devices.

Unable to get basic things done from this device. Like setting up alarm, reminders etc. Google assistant replies back 'Sorry I wasnt able to set that alarm, please try in a few seconds.' Need help pls...
Tried everything but it just does not set up alarms/reminders/timers etc. Basically commands related to clock and calendar. Have tried reseting the device then reseting the google assistant too but nothing has worked. I am sure there is something to do with the google settings but i just cant figure it out. Sure, but what happens with sub 30k laptops is they are usually underpowered and become kind of unusable in a couple of months. I suggest u extent your budget to 40k and u'll get better reliable options.

Please refrain from buying these, the microphones to control the speakers while playing the song is pathetic. I took the speaker in my hand and spoke right into it's microphone yet it kept on playing the song it was playing and that's frustrating and i had to pull out of power cord to make it listen to me, please go with Google Home Mini and everything else, they are much better is you need to "speak" to the speaker, there is not return policy on Mi.com else i would have returned.
