If you know how to fall properly/land on a slope it’s not tooooo awful. The worst part of landing on snow is the bad rugburn type thing when your coat rides up your back
That was such à close game ! I can't judge the last trick, it looks good to me but I'm not as skilled as they are lol so I dunno, glad colby won ! Gonna be super close against taisei 🔥 Btw what the hell are they made of Steel ? I swear if I fell like this I'd be done for the whole week
The landings were the same on the back 6 out and the lip 2 back 2 and they got called differently. Loose judging is fine, but that's just inconsistent.
The difference was that mark caught an edge but skiied out, while Colby landed so short he was closer to switch than forward, and nearly came to a stop
Bob Will they are both extremely talented don’t get me wrong here, but they are consistent with tricks they know, it takes true creativity and a special kind of talent to win slvsh. Maybe that’s why we all love it so much!!
xTheFreeDom A lip is bringing your skis tales over the rail or in other words getting the rail same foot from the the other side. A disaster is basically gapping onto a rail
bearly any jumps.... Set between those 2 swedes a year ago where both just went all inn on jumps is the best SLVSH game ever! 90% of SLVSH is only rails. kinda boring
I think that these guys know that everyone there can land nearly any big air trick, and since amplitude or landing isnt judged, the way to score points is to set techy rail lines.
We have to get more jumps in the games. 100% rails is no bueno. Not a true test of best park skier. Should almost be minimum that each skier has to call on jumps.
I don’t think there was an option. The jump was either closed bc it was late, speed was bad or it was crazy firm or something. Colby’s jump game is wild no way he would ignore it judging from his other games there. Idk how good mark is, I guess they could have agreed rails only if there was an obvious discrepancy in jump skill too
You can see Mark hop a little trying to get the surface swap around. Colby's was much cleaner and the game was already crazy long, it was time to end it.
he did say it looked different on camera, super hard call and u can tell he's bummed that the game ended on that trick after his call. he wouldnt do it if he didnt thorougly believe and think it was a surface swap
Damn Hess has gotta ref more games, good calls and entertaining!
Hess and Woody are my favorites
@@nashwillenbrock6953 same!
Ref is a close second to Woodsy, I rate his character
This whole cup is the most epic skiing I ever did see.
Hess keeping us guessing with the outfit changes
fr I think he changed outfits 3 times
It's crazy how these guys just fall and fall and keep on getting back up
Zinkleberry 70 determination

Legit tho, that's happened to me so many times and it hurts so much
thats first crash was so heavy !
Hunter is such a good ref he’s so entertaining
Well that was a bummer to end on. Feels for Mark
Someone needs to get mark some new bindings dam
Damn the line with the handrag cork5 and sw b2 on the S rail... Dont have words...

Mark seems like a really nice guy, great loser, still smiling all the way
yes! and his skis were all messed up :'(
Dudeee that was sick, hunter is a g.
Those first couple lines with the nollie front two had me frothing hard
Mark is my hero!
YYC on the map!
*nuts himself on the rail*
“That was nuts”😂
Mark should have had that back surface at the end, his tips hit the rail which made the pop
Hunter is actually a really good ref
Hess was a SOLID ref, and dang mark took so many slams
Finally a Canadian shredder
He's the second of three this week
sick game but what was going on with the jump this day?
rails rails rails.
that B4 off to Switch 2 Back swap Front 2 off was insane
Gotta give props to the effort of Mark, but Colby was ripping it up
steve?
nson :D
@@jackwestcott7649 I'm so sorry.... :p
Colby just battered Mark down until he could no take anymore :D great game, a deserved win I think
This was like watching the pats-rams super bowl
Nothing like doing a season on poachers and then watching this game and seeing other people have the same problems as you..
Yay
Uhh i love colby❤️❤️ the best skier on world
carlo toivari marks better
So smooth :D
@@honzakrcil7454 sorry for bad english😂

Good game and great judge!
Mark eats it on first trick:
*music stops*

My god... you’re evil
Nice game🔥🔥🔥🔥
Sick game
Hahha funny one of these rails is Better than my entire mountains park lol
how did oystein and jesper both get eliminated first!

Tyson Thornton yeah I agree with you on that one
@@tysonthornton1126 that's why they were so good on the attack but sort of blundered on defence
yess 60 fps i love it
Great game
Hyped!
what a first hit
Gg and good reffing
Anyone know where to get this song? Great game!
Awesome😍
I hope that the trend of games starting with nasty crash stops here. And yeah, incredibe skiing
Is there a snowboard version of this?
Sad to see mark go, reppin calgary!
Good shit
That binding tho
much wow...
fire reffing
Yeeh
6:47 lmao that coulda hurt very bad😂
Can someone pleeeaaase explain what a “lip” is? I’ve seen it everywhere but just have no idea. Is it like a frontside?
B R U H its when you pass the tail first over the rail to slide . When its sw you have to pass the nose first
Hope that help
What were marks skis
the rightside nosebutter, sick
colby makes all easy peacy
Hunter is the GOAT
Your crazy
Pretty sad they almost never hit the jump
Yo, Hunter have really step up on reaffing, you was si boring before now you did so well !
Hess probably had an outfit change for every set change.
Can someone explain me what's lip and disaster?
xTheFreeDom A lip is bringing your skis tales over the rail or in other words getting the rail same foot from the the other side. A disaster is basically gapping onto a rail
for example - you approach the rail from the left and jump on it with right foot first
6:58 i chooked on my food
#HunterHessForPresident
0:50 holy shit
Loose reffing but pretty consistent.
those 5050s tho
ref blew it
Poor mark just getting bodied all game
Damn how can he even walk with these chrashes
Compared this Game7 to Game 1. Rather weak... Shame that Jesper Tjader is out.
Mark dies on backslide blind 2, colby calls backslide blind 2 in the next set lol
7:00 i see what you did there....
Mark was little off that day
Taisei would eat these guys for lunch
noooooooo mark :(

If they dont want to jump thats there choice
bruh ppl gotta chill on these first hits
Like if it were a surface
Like 28

bearly any jumps.... Set between those 2 swedes a year ago where both just went all inn on jumps is the best SLVSH game ever! 90% of SLVSH is only rails. kinda boring
there is one jump and 5 different rail lines so its logical that it would be this way as long as there are more battles filmed at the same time.
I think that these guys know that everyone there can land nearly any big air trick, and since amplitude or landing isnt judged, the way to score points is to set techy rail lines.
We have to get more jumps in the games. 100% rails is no bueno. Not a true test of best park skier. Should almost be minimum that each skier has to call on jumps.
i hate watching games that are straight jumps tho, just rails is honestly more interesting imo
I don’t think there was an option. The jump was either closed bc it was late, speed was bad or it was crazy firm or something. Colby’s jump game is wild no way he would ignore it judging from his other games there. Hit some jumpssssss rails are so 2018
He did not jump lmao RIP
The refs last call was complete bs

Boring
Hunter Hess went from being my bronze medal ref behind Woodsy and Wabs, but that call on the surface was whack.
Terrible reffing to give Mark that 90degree short rotation and then to not give it to Colby literally the next trick.
He catched an edge he didn't landed 90°, his left ski was straight
