Whatever happened to these 'how to play' vids? Believe they did about five of them. Guessing they were a test series to see what engagement was like? I do find myself rewatching them though as I do with all their other videos, they all spark memories from my board game journey.
I just bought this game and I didn’t know it existed until 2 weeks ago haha! I love discovering games by accident then realising that people have been playing it for years! So excited to play it!
Any video of this Channel is made in such a hilarious tone while being straight up to how the game plays without meaningless stuff , THEY ARE SMART! I think I ll live longer if I watch one video in a daily basis. I ll tell you after If I lived longer, or I ll haunt you the answer then!
such a fun game: have played it at a friend's, and a board game Cafe (where I semi successfully taught it, mistook a few points but we still all had fun.) and we did a fourth round just for fun where we had no timer and just worked to build the best ships we could on 3A/ Enterprise (which led to my ship being smashed by large meteors and losing the core cabin)
I watched this video over a year ago and have been dying to get this game ever since. Yesterday was Christmas and my wife finally got it for me! We've been so swamped with holiday stuff we still haven't settled down to play it, but I can't wait!
Played it today first time. Was actually useful to look at the cards, because I realized there was *plenty* of cargo coming our way. But in the non-viewable pile was a hail of meteors :-(
Good explanation! Though you did misunderstand the instructions with the 'starting player' bit; the boldest player by definition is the first one to flip the sand timer. There is no need to "pick" them as they select themselves!
Looks like a fun game - it's even better watching you with a British accent and uncombed hair explaining this looking like your apartment was just hit by an asteroid storm lol. :P Subbed
As always a fun video by SU&SD. However, isn't he wrong, when he says that you cannot move a component when it has touched the ship board? The rules say: "You can’t move a component once it has been added to your space ship, but you can move your newest component around while deciding whether to add it and where. Until you grab another component, you can change your mind about where to put your newest component or whether to keep it at all." So, you cannot move it once you've touched another component, but until then you can and I suppose, you could also look at adventure cards and then decide that your newest component should be moved or returned to the warehouse..
I cringe every time I see a full mug or glass so close to an elbow AND game pieces. The whole time I was anticipating you knocking over that mug and spilling its contents all over the FABULOUS game pieces of AWESOME GALAXY TRUCKERS!
I simply abhor this game!!!!! I find it no fun at all watching what I have built being destroyed and dismantled by random events!!! Meanwhile some of your opponents are lucky and get away through the same event with no harms done!!!! If you like playing board games in which you plan things and build a strategy stay away from this one!!!!
I guess I'll be the naysayer here. Really surprised they (and others) like this game so much. IMO it's lame and super random, I just don't see the appeal at all.

I'm considering buying this game right now. I didn't know it existed until 20 mins ago.

This is my absolute favorite game, and now I have a great video to prep my unsuspecting victims. I mean... friends. Thanks!

This game is pure genius. Thanks for the recommendation! The only game in my collection I am always up for playing.

Good luck and may the ship be with you
Used to play this with my dad when I was little

I think you misunderstood the joke.
Matt's condescending vocalization of 'nonimpressedness' at 8:01 - lol
Best thing this vid did for me was tell me what attitude to take toward it. Hahahaha!

You can't place a component, look at cards, then change that component. It's in the rulebook.
Great review! How big is the two-player fun with Galaxy Trucker?
about this big: ua-cam.com/video/kf-x_MixzkY/v-deo.html
Not seeing the storage you describe in the rule book
Been umming and arring for several weeks now.................. SOLD..............

Elbows and forearms, the great topplers of liquid containers.
It makes me so uncomfortable seeing that mug there. Its not happening at my table 😂

:P jokes
On a serious note: Love your channel, keep up the great work

The rule sthat come with the game are so bad, thanks for actually explaining them!

This game is more about humor and luck than skill. That’s simply it.
