The Lemon Song! Great demo. Just ordered one of these for the second time. Was my first proper tube amp a few years ago and as my only amp at the time I was looking for something more Fendery as a pedal platform. But now I want one again as part of the collection because it offers something other amps lack- the harmonic content and dynamics on that mid overdrive setting you got on the Sabbath and Zeppelin stuff.
Absolutely! They certainly shine for that crunchy saturated chewy goodness. Let us know if you're in the market! We have them for sale on our reverb page. Rock On!
Thank you very much for this neat demo ! Why not doing the Harley Benton Mighty-15TH next ? It seems really mighty on the look of it ! Or maybe the redlace or the SubZero ????? (exceptional saturation spectrum )... I can't wait !!!!!
I had to google this - I think he was referring to the fact that at noon they are set to zero. Here's a forum on the topic - what do you think? Let's get nerdy... forum.orangeamps.com/viewtopic.php?t=40576
MasonMusicRocks if the knobs are at zero when they’re at noon, it means rolling past noon will boost the frequencies. That’s active. Passive controls can never boost, only cut. It might be that the pre-amp produces lots of extra highs so the preferred position would be noon, because the amp’s natural tone is shrill, but that still means the control itself is passive. What he’s describing is a control that is neutral at noon, unless the whole second part of the knob’s rotation has no function (which I doubt), that means that the control is active.
PATIENCE YOUNG PADAWAN. (totally kidding - I do the same thing- very thankful for the scroll bar when I want to skip ahead). Thanks for hanging in there with us!
MasonMusicRocks great video 🤘🏻I have an OR15 myself. It was my dream amp for awhile love the way it sounds! Need to work on a pedal board gotta add some effects but an absolutely stellar amp. Really enjoyed the video, great playing.
Amp demos are fun to make! You get to test drive great gear and play it loud. What do y’all want us to demo next???

"You get to test drive great gear and play it loud." Proceeds to set master to 1.9
Lol- good call. If you want a loud one, check out the Supro Black Magick demo we just did. I almost had to wear earplugs for the demo.

5:00 I think you mean “active” knobs. At least, that’s what you’re describing.
