Rammstein Lyrics are from a different World. I always tried to get family or friends to listen to Rammstein, but they have so many Prejudices because of the Media. They never gave them a Chance and tried to "really" listen to the Songs.
I think over analysing the lyrics is a large part of the fun. Till's poems are also fascinating. Sometimes beautiful, sometimes horrible, sometimes shocking, sometimes comforting. Often very funny. A few of them get adapted into lyrics.
Hi, I follow you from Italy and I think we are the same age. I really appreciate your obvious passion for Rammstain which I fully share. Sorry for my bad English and thanks, keep it up.
Your English is great! I'm 57 in Sept. Don't know how I didn't get into Rammstein in my youth. But, I get to enjoy them now. Thanks for watching and commenting 😃
Bro respect. In a short time you have gone deep down in the Rammstein rabbit hole. I have been in and out of it for 30 years. Now. It will never end. Allways new things to discover.
Probably the best song on this album, so oppressive, depressing when a child seeks love for his own mother and she doesn't return it. So sad but so much truth behind it.............😢😥😭
The thing with Rammstein is that they're so very German, and that many people their age, born in the mid to late 1960s, had very similar experiences with the way children were raised back then. Their parents must have been born during the 1930s or 1940s and they were very traumatized because of the war, and it sometimes took decades for them to be able to talk about. The result was an emotional numbness, they often weren't able to give their children the affection that they would have needed. There are other reasons that have nothing to do with the war, too, like people had to be tough and show no emotions. It's probably not even an exclusive German issue, other people have been traumatized as well. But as a German, I know exactly what they're talking about. Same for "Mutter".
Expelled from the world can simply mean that the father left the world, the boy's living environment, and never came back because coexistence with this woman was not possible. In this case, the son was already a victim of his mother because she took his father away from him, psychologically deformed him and deprived him of the chance of a normal life perspective. It happens millions of times around the world.
What a poet …I love Tills lyrics…and that voice. I thought german language is ugly…then Till comes…❤ im fine Rick…so much better. And your reaction always make me feel …satisfaid
A tyrannical mother who forces her son to do things he doesn't want. This also includes sexual abuse. After all, he is the man in the house and the meat spoils in the blood. Which in principle sounds like incest. She was so tyrannical that she forced her husband out of the world. That means she made him so psychologically exhausted that he killed himself. If he were still alive, she would only have forced him out of the house, but it was the world.
Curiously, the title text of the song, "meine Tränen" (my tears), never features in this song. You only ever hear "deine Tränen" (your tears). This leaves it open to interpretation. But a likely scenario is that during the song it is told from the perspective of the mother or others, while the then picked title of the finished song is an admission of your own tears (that you were conditioned to never show publicly).
@@B-Drags-Den That's a good one. The sound is a bit rubbish but it doesn't matter and you'll have less copyright trouble than with the Paris one I think.
I love this song. Sad and beautiful at the same time. I like Till's talent to put disturbing topics into deeply touching words.
It is amazing.
Love this song so much
30year of pure madness and generic how Till plays with words and the world , so rare
Agreed

My analytical mind is challenged with Rammstein.
Such vulnerable songs and that from a tree from a man, only Till!
Yep
Yes!!! My very favorite rammstein song!
Thanks for watching
@@B-Drags-Den thanks for reacting!! I enjoy them very much!

Till is the master. He writes all the lyrics for Rammstein and gave away his rights early on so that all band members earn the same amount.
I like Till.

Just masterful, thanks 🙏
A sad and a nice song

Lügen must be the next one. It is as amazing as this song.
Added. Thanks 😊

In the line ‘Driven out of the world’ it is quite clear that the father is no longer alive.
The dad kiled him self
love it 💕
Thanks for watching Sonie. 😊

Great reaction, as always! Next time go for "Schwarz", that's poetry at its finest, you will love it!

Rick, look up Richard's background. some correlation here. Thankyou.
I will. Thanks 😊

Thanks. Pretty much what I thought but didn't want to get that specific in the reaction.

Please do their song "Schwarz" (Black) next, it is equally eerily emotional.
Maybe because "my tears" are only to be shed at her death. Otherwise, it's not allowed.
How often does emotional and physical abuse happen in families? Again it’s the boys going where most don’t want to 👊🤘
True
Meine Tränen (my tears) = MINE-UH TRAY-NEN (approx. pronunciation in English)
Thanks. I get on Duo and learn some German. 😀
First!
Love it when people come in like that. 🤣. Thanks for watching
Dont think on this one . Story is clear . Mom is the abusive one . Dad couldent take it no more so he kiled him self .
Yep. That's it.
React to the live performance of "Bück Dich". I guess you are ready now 😂
I do. It's been an on going debate. If I do it will be Montreal
