@nunya No! This is the only dev that will redo the entire game, wipe all character build progress just to get whales to spend more money.

Tip number 1 : Don't waste time trying to reach end game because you will never reach endgame

There are some really good tips! My little level 5 toon way back 4 yrs ago would have loved this information. I'm level 80 with multiple toons so these aren't new to me to be honest (shocker!! Haha) but as a new player if I'd have known these my experience would have been better. So thank you!

Only one thing to add... say chat is not the entire instance but more immediate vicinity. There is a range to say chat and people out of that range can’t read it 😊
Awesome vid. Wish I'd have seen it a few months ago, but still learned a ton. Gonna go grab that free gear now, maybe that will keep my warlock from dying everytime there's a gentle breeze. 75 and had thought the logical progression was to start campaigns as soon as they become available, never even considered starting undermountain. Lol
Thank you for the video, I am level 80 on 2 characters and did not know about potion buffs overriding each other. I can stop wasting potions now.
I've been pretty reliably getting 1-2 K for pants and shirts dropping from ME's on the AH, so that's been a nice little side bonus.

The only thing i would say to tip 1 is yes, just put on the gear that has the most green numbers, but keep your weapon up to date as much as possible (even if only with the bounties in the zone that matches your level). Weapon makes a huge DPS difference while going from 1-70, and its super easy to keep up on

I agree with you 100% take your time and enjoy the game. Don't rush through it. You could be missing out.

One that i wish people had told me: Don't waste your Astral Diamonds buying gear before level 70 or even 80. At level 70 you receive a quest from Lord Neverember and he'll give you a chest full of gear, weapons, companion gear, etc all for FREE. Save your shiny blue bricks for lvl80. You need a lot of them.
you can buy some lvl 8 azures pretty cheap though for leveling
@@banredassaultsuvs361 ikr. that's what i did with all the characters i created.
Just remember though, once you passed lvl 10, your only option is refer someone else or even refer a new account you create. Even if you delete that character that is over lvl 10, the refer a friend will not work anymore although I do know of someone who was over lvl 10 but somehow was still able to use the code, it's not something you can duplicate, he just got lucky I guess cause of game lag. The refer a friend is really the best you can do to help a new player to the game but they really have to new, lvl 5 is very easy to pass and you'll miss out on weapons that level with you up to lvl 60.
I'd really advise taking a Deepcrow Hatchling as a first pet at high level. It's one of the cheapest augment pet. It's epic from the start (consider the fact you need 750k AD to upgrade a green pet to purple/epic). And its offence power gives 8k power at legendary. Then the most important thing to do at level 80 is getting rank 15 bondings. You can do mostly everything with just a legendary augment pet and rank 15 bondings. But maybe that's for another video like "What to do when you reach lvl 80 ?".
If they weren't si goddamn expensive... Would Rank 14 do the job too? XD
@@blackcitadel37 As long as you have most of your stats capped at 68k and more than 100k power, you can do lomm (if you know the mechanics). Bondings are the best way to get more stats (with my pet, I have 69k armor pen, without it I have 16k. It's a legendary Deepcrow Hatchling with purple gear you get from quests in Undermountain and rank 15 bondings, nothing else... Well, I do have 26.8% companion influence and 12.5% bonus from bolster but that's not too important, really). Rank 14 bondings are certainly good, and you might want to upgrade other things before upgrading them to 15 (didn't do the maths). But clearly, bondings are all that matters this mod.

New player, only been playing for 5 days. Thank you for the video. Do you have or could you make a video regarding what to sell and or keep? I find this the hardest element. I have kept everything as all i can find advice wise online is to sell white and green items. There is so much stuff and it is a tad overwhelming. Thanks in advance 💚
If you're on ps4, I'd say don't get discouraged by the queue times. Made a new character and it takes a while this time around to do them
If you add money to your steam wallet first, then go in game and buy the zen using your steam wallet you won't go on probation. Learned that after getting put on probation and then experimented a bit to find a way around it

No where to claim on home key in game nothing is happening is this expired? No claim rewards button please help so I can play I'm not level 10 yet.
I'd never turn off Zone (Altough while in the Enclave it's undertstandable, but it's worth turning on when outside) or Say, but especially do not turn off Say under any circumstance, a lot of players from my experience aren't using the party channel due to it bugging a lot (one has to manually toggle it each dungeon run it seems) and there is more to gain from having greater awareness through those channels being active when outside Protectors Enclave. Usually things aren't so bad outside of there, usually. I often actually leave my channel to Zone or Say by default as I find it annoying to manually switch to party every run (Unless it's a REALLY serious dungeon, but I don't get into those super often yet with my low item level)
New player question here, I know that I can play however I want, but once I hit 80 and try to do dungeons and such will ppl not pick me up because I'm using a GF as a dps? Should I roll a HR instead?

sivery theres a bunch of free stuff bags companions mounts other then the referral for consoles just by linking youre console of choice to youre arc account its super fast and easy and youll get tons of usefull stuff just open the rewards from the rewards agent on the toon you want the stuff bound on its all explained thru the arc app when youre downloading neverwinter and can be done at any time 3 companions a 2 mounts for every toon ull create plus loamweave enchantment bags genies gifts etc etc just for clicking a link button plus theres a rewards points system for unlocking achievments allowing you to use them to by pheoras mystic nightmare ckeletal dog and tons of other stuff all free no strings attached not many know about it so sorry for the long post but if youre on console free coals etc are a godsend

I have a character that is level 10 and I see on peoples builds that I been watching, they have this thing called “feats” and I looked in my character sheet and I don’t have it, like it just shows: Character, power, boons, companions, and mount

Ok, I'm completely new to this so forgive the neophyte questions. (1) How do I make my Wizard powers stronger? I'm @ level 60 and I still seem to be playing at the power strength I started with while others around me are wiping shit out like BAM! Shouldn't I be able to level up each power? I appreciate any help offered.

I buy some Zen using the Steam wallet, and since 2016, all the stuff I've buyed was/is unbound. I do not know why, but I can not complain
It's only bound for a small amount of time (1 or 2 week I think?)
Honestly the only tip I need as a veteran player is how to download neverwinter classic xD, anyways nice video it will help a lot of new players

Since I'm just coming back to the game after like 4 years should i just delete all my characters and use your referral link? Or can I get the pack by making a throw away account and getting something up to X level?
Note: my highest level character was around 30?-40 that I ca remember so I wouldn't mind deleting them to relearn everything. :3
@@Silv3ry So I made a 2nd account and tried to refer myself using my old account and according to refer-a-friend my old account has never had a character above level 10, even though I had just logged into the character selection screen and sure enough I had a level 35 barbarian. Didn't log onto the character though.
I'm wondering if my account is so old that the refer-a-friend server base simply never added it to the archive list. Which makes me wonder if I can juke the system and benefit from refer-a-friend on my old account. xD I've seen odder bugs occur.

are there still giant pop ups that inform me that so and so just got the bow of awesome sauce from a lootbox? theyre annoying and I cant play if theyre in the game
@@Silv3ry You cant turn off the popup, but you can turn off the in chat box version. BUTTTTT they did make it FAR less intrusive, its at the top of the screen now (instead of the middle) and its font is much less annoying. I find its much much easier to ignore now

The floating energy bits on your Toon and the electricity on your weapon. I assume these are enchantments and if so what are the name of the enchantments are you using?

The "say" channel is also based on proximity. If you're standing by Neverember, you won't see anything someone at Moneycoins types into Say, you need to be in the same area.

New people cant talk in zone until around level 28 and they have done 4 zones ... For gear they are talking to the bounty npc's in each area they are doing quests in.. that how the new people now gear 1 - 70 , now that random equipment doesnt drop like it used to.. Good info otherwise those are my only points to add

A Note on #4: Speed is talked about about, and later on talking about "Zen" it's mentioned that really only the VIP is worth it. It's mentioned to wait to spend Zen till you know you like the game, and this is good advice, but buying VIP Rank 12 isn't like "stressed". The time you save riding back to a portal to change maps, or looking for a bank, or a mailbox is invaluable. Plus you get more more HP which helps. If you like the game, spend $50 like you would for any game and achieve rank 12 VIP(buy during 1/2 off and any other promotional time. These will often stack making things even cheaper. Plus you can get a 20% off from invoking). Wile your year passes start saving ad and buying Zen, so any later VIP purchases are now being funded by the game itself. VIP is really important IMO. Plus injuries and crap like that are annoying when you don't have VIP.

How about tips for returning players. I've been away for 9 months and I'm so confused and my guild is dead. The leader actually passed away and I'm stuck with a new guild.
My dude I'm sorry to bare the bad news....but the game has been ruined by the dev's and the low IQ incels that play the game now. It's become boring repetitive and takes FOREVER to make any noticable progress. Because there is no progress to be made.

I've put in several hundred hours into ESO. It's fun, but it's very theme park like. Cookie cutter combat as well. Good game though, only reason I'm playing NW is the combat feels different than ESO in a good way.
But... But... Zone channel is a place for u to have fun reading some drama... lol xD

How exactly you claim the reward from the refer? I clicked the Claim Valuables button, but there is nothing there that I can claim. Am I supposed to be at a certain level or something? Do I have to wait for something?
I have the same issue. I clicker her link, then got to level 10 and was able to send my friends links, but hers never worked ...
@@dwaithman7166 It turns out that I had to wait a day to receive the reward (Server reset possibly). Also, one of the rewards (the mount) is level 20, so after you get level 20, wait a day, and then you can claim.
