I have the older 30qt version with the padded seat top and rod holders on the side. I use it regularly when I'm fishing rocky bank areas that i can't put a rod holder in the ground. Engel makes a great product.
awesome video ma you are one of the few channels i have found where i acually enjoy watching i would love to fish with ya sometime you seem like a great guy keep up the great work
I bought the 13qt Magellan bait cooler from Academy Sports for 40 bucks, which compared to the Engle for $105. The only thing I didn't like was the side hole for the aerator tube, so I plugged the hole with the attached plug, and drilled a hole in the top back corner. Saved $65 and the cooler seems very sturdy, well built too
I can't remember or find why its a bad idea to put ice in. I just remember someone saying it was bad. I do sometimes use small frozen soda bottles to keep the water cool.
Where can I get one. Billy I would have done away with the bobber and used a size 8-10 hook and a split shot. No worms can of green giant nibblets corn and cleaned the creek of creek chubs. Just letting you know how I do it up here in n.c. piece of night crawler works great at times but corn is a sure thing
I like that bait trap. Where did you get it from? I have a bait collapsible bag with an aerator built in that a friend bought me. If I didn't have it I would get that cooler. Very nice.
I think I got that one from Bass Pro Shops. Its a crawfish trap. Bigger hole (legal in Tennessee). Here is one on Amazon (check your local laws on these AND I may get a commission if you buy it or anything else through my link): amzn.to/3KuFGVr
The Magellan bait cooler is cheaper, better and better quality...FYI, that "fish basket" that comes with the Engle will stink after about 9 months. It's better to just use a minnow scooper. lol
I just noticed Amazon has these for sale now. If you buy through my Amazon link I may get a commission: amzn.to/48mynrb
Yes sir Billy, I sure would buy one❤

I agree! I like this cooler better than the two livewells on my boat!
It’s always a pleasure to watch your videos thank you
Awesome! See you then!
I love that cooler! That would be perfect for my needs. I could keep my bait alive longer, and, the cooler is not some giant monstrosity!👍
Its a great cooler for sure!

I have an Engel and it works great.

They are good ones too!
Great video brother
Thanks
Throw net is a really good way to catch a lot of bait!
I do have a cast net video planned for the future!
I have 2 Ingle bait coolers I usually add g- juice and kept bluegills alive for about 4-5 days
And what is g-juice? And I would like to bring some bluegills or crappie home to clean..
I buy it at Academy or at bass pro shop
I've heard of it. I know people put salt in water for shad. I don't know what's in the g-juice. I may have to give it a try.
I think this is a great idea. Being a cooler, it should maintain water temp...... Would you add a little ice now and then to keep bait cool?

They told me it should be released at the end of March. Good advice!
