I'm a subscriber. I am not the WL but was just added to PC as a Scheduler, since the WL will be out of state for 4 Sundays. He'll have everything scheduled for all those dates. I'm on every Sunday. My only concern is IF I get a notice from a WT member that they noe can't be there. My question is ---I'd like to know what YOUR OWN method is in sending out a replacement request for one team member. I appreciate your response in advance. I've also been asked to find fill-in drummers for us as our senior pastor left as of yesterday after 9 yrs, on GOOD terms by the way, and his son was our main drummer! I have some buddies who could fill in but also looking for the best way of handling that. Maybe get them ON our PC system, and then they can use the blackout dates, as that might be the easiest way rather than emailing them to see if they're available....easier on both me and them! haha I also have one of your HWL patches!
Great questions! When I need to find a last minute replacement, I send out an email to another person in that position (if we have one), and tell them "Hey, I normally don't like to send these requests last minute, but we have a need. If you're available please let me know, thanks!" As far as fill-in drummers, I agree with what you said, I'd get them into planning center, (especially if they are used to using it already at other churches), and send them requests. You got this!
Definitely have not been using matrix mode for scheduling. I’ve only been using it for set planning. Wow...that makes things so much easier!!! Thanks Bro!
matrix mode got my head exploded! Definitely going to be using that (we've got a traditional and contemporary service and different tech folks for each)
Hey Worship Leader different chords inversions and effects you’d use in a smaller band setting would be cool. I just want to be able to utilize the gear I have more often but always default to my acoustic out of ease haha thanks for the reply
Woah, that drag and drop in matrix mode is going to save me so much time....awesome! As an aside to all this, how do you handle scheduling preferences with people who want to do it more than their rotation? I am blessed with 4 sound guys, and some of them want to do it more often than once a month. Any tips for stuff like that?
That’s great man. Yeah, during the on boarding process I actually have learned to talk about that. I tell them that my goal is to use them once a month so they can service with their spouse somewhere else if need on another week, and have 2 weeks a month where they just sit in the service with their families. Sometimes I may on them for more and sometimes less. So just be upfront and tell them your vision for what you want for them. Having people want to help is great. If nothing else find something else for them to do. If some should guys mix different, have shadow each other and see if they learn something. Idk just throwing things that come to mind.
@@HeyWorshipLeader That's great insight, thanks! Are you going to be doing more videos on coaching and leading your worship team and such? Or is that more for your 1-on-1 mentorship program?
This is an old video. Hopefully I can get a response. When you send the email requests, can that be done via text. Ik I personally hate having email notifications on my phone bc it would get blown up.
Yes...when you import a person you can add a phone number as well as an email. I know you can send individual requests but I'm not sure if you can toggle this when sending to multiple people

Dude, Ana we thought when I first found out! Thanks for watching!
Could you do a video on leading from an electric guitar?
I've thought about that...what things would you want included in a video like that?

Matrix mode looks 🔥, gotta check that out. How have I used Services this long and not have come across that by now!? Shameful 😂

How do you choose the keys for each singer?
