The Elephant Parade organization raises awareness for the endangered Asian elephant and encourages conservation efforts. In 2013 and 2021, Dana Point hosted the Elephant Parade in it's North American debut and continues to showcase the elephants throughout the city,
With a habitat reduced by 95% and a population decline of 90%, the Asian elephant is a species in desperate need of our help. If we don't act now, the Asian elephant will become extinct.
