That was a cool build. I hope we get to see some pond updates. Any guesses on how long you think it will take to fill them. Also, I saw that Chris placed some stumps for fish habitat in the bigger pond, but what about the other one? Are you stocking bass and bluegills?
You have a beautiful farm, and Chris gave you 2 beautiful ponds to go with. I do hope you'll share when they fill up. Thanks for being Chris's "scale model" when trying to show the size of the dams.😁
Good to see you are relaxing after that huge project. Happy you turned to the right a little :) 'Tiki tree' just goes to show just what can happen with fire in the wet. Poor old Betty took a bit of waking up. Always enjoy the farm videos LetsDig18.
I bet you’re glad to be home again brother, you did an awesome job on the two pond builds Chris or Pond Master! Thanks for sharing the videos and the Volvo 550!
This made my day. Chris giving us a little tour and explanation of the fence line area future. Then finally setting the burn pile going. I don't know why but I really like watching him managing burn piles.
Free Time at Your Farm ! Wow - what a Shot - what a View of the Dozer driving over the Camera - now that was all Class ! Betty needed a Boost ! Finally You getting Your Burn Pile Burned and Yes its Cooking - ha ! Time flies when You having Fun and how true that is ! Dead Tree caught fire - wow ! Another Great Video - thank You and many Cheers from us in Australia !!!!
Well it’s great to see Chris back on his farm working toward his goals of the pond and cabins. Pride of ownership is engraved into the heart of America and will never surrender to the idiots believing in owning nothing and being happy. Great Video Chris.🚜
Hi Chris Mark and baby Logan here just txting to say that u did a fantastic job on the ponds and Logan loved u in the 550 he was over the moon whit it and the work it can do
You made me laugh out loud when you said "I'm lazy". Kid, if you look up the word Industrious in the dictionary, your picture is next to the entry!🤣I understand mud time is not the time to be sculpting dirt (unless your goal is mud pies) but watching you work around your farm, work with your equipment is fun to watch as well. Thanks for sharing this fire, I kinda have been looking forward to it, and showing exactly why you want wet conditions to burn. Glad your Tiki tree only burned itself. This was a fun video, Chris. Thanks again.
We had on a pipeline ,mid 70s . Had 955 with a brush blade . Boy was it handy. Back then we cut ,stacked logs and burnt the brush than buried the brush . Would use the loder to stump . He would stick the tooth of the brush blade in the stump and out it would come . The tree's on this job were huge.
Well I guess you're glad you're back at home. You can do some stuff in the yard that you haven't done for a while and I know one thing you haven't had for a while is a fire. It really enjoy your fires. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦🔥🔥
Letsdig18 I met some of your logging friends today, T&K logging. We were install a footer, driveway and a septic system in neighborhood near NC. They were logging a small tract in the neighborhood. This was in Virginia. I saw their Volvo 220 with a cutter head. And was thinking 🤔 how many those are there I’ve only see a one and it was on your channel. Turns out I was right 😊. Very nice guys 👍
Thanks for sharing Chris and enjoy your time off brother! Praying for you and your family, I hope Winston and Franklin are doing well my friend! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👌🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸. Kirk from Louisiana!🙋🏼♂️
Good to be back home relaxing, on ur farm, after 2 wks building ponds. Good to see all equipment. U are blessed! Enjoy ur down time on farm!!! So enjoyed this video. God's blessings and be safe!
Ol` Betty is still high maintenance even when she sits. Looks like you want to mix some wood ash in with that topsoil pile you are saving. Starting a wet wood pile and not bringing the leaf blower to help boost it. Better reason to leave the grapple on is so you can have more "practice time'.
Another great home farm video bro, yeah the way the planet keeps raining you will need to get your toys flippers and snorkels if it keeps up. More than our share of rain down this way too. Safe travels
Have fun at the Florida showing. Any plans for a purchase? (!) Betty: "A little whiff might have done the trick in my youth, but this old girl holds out for the good stuff!"
Howdy Chris glad to see you back on your farm i think i heard you say maybe big clearing job i do like how you take down trees 🌲 and push brush around and then it is a beautiful spot in the woods but i do like it all the videos you take i hate to say that clearing and cleaning up messes and fixing ponds, overflows you tear it up and make the job look excellent my opinion 😎🇺🇸 NY 6:03pm
Ol' Betty is always the problem child, eh? lol. But the satisfaction of hopping on the old dozer and having it fire up so easily kinda makes up for it, yeah? Always a pleasure seeing the latest!
FIRE FIRE FIRE‼️ ♨️♨️♨️🤘🏻👍🏻 I enjoy watching your videos Chris. I went back and started watching from your first one. I'm just about to where I subscribed to your channel. Still have a few more to watch. It's like a daily program for me. Your channel was the first one that I subscribed to about a year ago. Watching you working makes me wish that I was young again! Thanks Chris!
Old used motor oil is awesome with a dash of cherry Diesel. Have a pile to burn my self .But is covered in alot of snow at present .Have to wait till the snow gets a little stronger in March than wooof!
Go through his numerous videos. If you haven’t seen them all, there is gold buried in his video list. If you have seen them all….you will enjoy going back through them and finding lots of what you requested.
The only problem is going to every job in the past is a lot of people may not want I have him film on that property and I probably can't remember every one of them . Lmao
@GenesisPure Deaf I've seen every one of his jobs as I've been watching from the beginning. Some of their best videos are dealing with those pesky beabers.
Chris, watching you move that pile of mixed dirt, roots, sticks, and other assorted detritus, I think you need to look for a used screener at your next auction. Several times this last year you ended up burying a bunch of good topsoil because it was contaminated with junk. You have then buried what amounts to some pretty valuable dirt. You can use it at most of your large clearing jobs. I don’t know how often the show up at the auctions but it would seem like a good “extra” service you can sell your customers. Just a thought. I know around here a truckload of topsoil goes for a lot of money.
That look you gave the camera while you were moving the D6 was epic! A man and his machine! Doe's Betty have a battery disconnect? You know...... with all the roots you have to deal with , I'm surprised you don't have a screen on legs to sift through all the dirt.
I like watching the old Cats run that you operate - smooth and steady. I grew up around Traxcavators / 955s that dug the basements for my grandfather's jobsites. I did notice the 955 nosed over a lot when getting full buckets of loam - the 4 in 1 is heavier than a standard bucket and may need a rear counterweight. Keep up the good work - most enjoyable for an armchair operator
In your spare time, 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣, you might consider adding remote terminals from the batteries to a more convenient location to be jumped or to jump another piece of equipment. This way you don't have to keep removing the cover, especially during the winter months.
I wondered if you noticed any movement in the cab went you drop a full bucket of dirt,, watching you run the 550 I noticed that the boom moved up when you dropped the scoop.. Does the boom have a buffer or a stop to control the sudden weight change ? Looked like a foot of travel in the videos,, just curious whether you noticed that weight change.. The 550 was awesome,, maybe a 900 next time....👍👍
It always makes my day when the Cat's come out to play lol. I love the Volvos too, but that sound is awesome. I have really liked that 977k since the day you and Charlie got it running on the side of the road. Also an Idea I have for the 977k, the injector pump might be losing prime when it sits for long periods, there are 2 things that can help with that a check valve in the line and a simple electric "lift" pump to push it from the tank to the injection pump. Both of those are pretty cheap fixes (
Hey Chris !!! Have ""FUN"" with Clint & Mike down in FL. at the auctions !!! What you gona look for this time ?? HAHA Watch those ""NO RUNNERS"" for sure !! 🤔🤭🙄👀👀👍👍👍👍👍 Great job on the fire !!!!
Amazing how Betty fires up so quick and easy. We missed picking up the bucket of fuel/fire starter fluid with the grapple, but am wondering if you poured the fuel out of the bucket also with the grapple? haha.. next time.
Chris, you need to wire up an Anderson plug connection to outside so that you just plug in a small fly lead from pack to connection. Save pulling the lid of each time. The two dams you built came up very nice. That 550 moves dirt. Shame it would take so much time and expense moving it from job to job.
I had almost 3 arces of sycamore Talk about fun to burn oh yeah They burn if you let them dry for couple Years but usually leave behind Lots so lots extra fires to get rid of them But did mine all by hand an compact Tractor that wood ash is good for you're Ground be great around new pond Get good healthy grass for sure
Chris,...I have a problem starting up my 2018 Takeuchi LT10v2 after a week and a half of not using it. I was told that the alternator could be draining the battery. This was told to me after I installed a shutoff on it and if I forget to shut it of it will drain the battery again. I plan on pulling the alternator at sometime but, Im thinking Betty may need to be check since you have the problem with her. Good video's all the time! :)
TO GET A GOOD FIRE GOING -USE A MIXTURE OF KEROSENE AND DEISEL. USE A SPRAY PRESSURE CAN WITH THE END CUT OFF THE WAND , SO YOU CAN GET THE GOODS DEEP INTO THE PILE . SPRAY TOWARDS THE SMALL FIRE YOU STARTED AND IT WILL TRAVEL TO THE MIXTURE AND IT WORKS EVERY TIME.
Curious question, anyway you could set up your equipment so you have quick connections on the battery leads so if you have to jumpstart one you could do it with another one rather than having to use a jump box?
Too bad you are not closer to Kansas. Our local salvage man did a farm clean up and brought out 2 D2's, a Ten, and 2 old graders. He crushed the graders and tore apart the D2 with a tall blade, is going to sell the D2 with a tracster loader on it, and is keeping the Ten for an ornament.
Definitely faster and more thorough with the bucket and progressive link thumb...the rotary grapple has its place but that's more loading and handling logs and yeah I get its time to kill and play with the toys
That is the most expensive bucket toter I ever seen. Glad you took a little time to make us some content to entertain us ...Maybe you could make a video of painting up one of the dozers so they stay nice and new lookin.watchin on a rainy day in Mckinney Tx.
Well, it was a blast having Chris down at my place building the two ponds. He did a heck of a job. Good man.
That was a cool build. I hope we get to see some pond updates. Any guesses on how long you think it will take to fill them. Also, I saw that Chris placed some stumps for fish habitat in the bigger pond, but what about the other one? Are you stocking bass and bluegills?
Those 2 Ponds Y'all Built Turned Out Amazing. Nice Place U Have
I loved the build, keep us posted on the fill up man
You have a beautiful farm, and Chris gave you 2 beautiful ponds to go with. I do hope you'll share when they fill up. Thanks for being Chris's "scale model" when trying to show the size of the dams.😁
Really loved that series! You have a lovely place! Enjoy!
Good morning Afternoon evening and good night all
Always good to see a good fire .
You make the nicest and biggest campfires I've ever seen! Thanks for letting me be apart of your day.
Good to see you are relaxing after that huge project. Happy you turned to the right a little :) 'Tiki tree' just goes to show just what can happen with fire in the wet. Poor old Betty took a bit of waking up. Always enjoy the farm videos LetsDig18.
Chris you got to be proud of the fleet of machines you have now Congrats
Enjoyed the relaxed pace. 👍
I bet you’re glad to be home again brother, you did an awesome job on the two pond builds Chris or Pond Master! Thanks for sharing the videos and the Volvo 550!
The jump box is heavy before you use it because of all the electricity stored in it. 😀 It should be lighter once it has been used.
This made my day.
Chris giving us a little tour and explanation of the fence line area future.
Then finally setting the burn pile going.
I don't know why but I really like watching him managing burn piles.
As Beavis says: FIRE!!!!! FIRE!!!! FIRE!!!!
Me too! Someday i will have my own mini ex!

Been watching for a couple years. Really enjoy your videos, especially the pond builds and repairs
There’s not many old or new engines that start as easy as that D6! That thing is a jewel.
That D6 starts ridiculously well
Well it’s great to see Chris back on his farm working toward his goals of the pond and cabins. Pride of ownership is engraved into the heart of America and will never surrender to the idiots believing in owning nothing and being happy. Great Video Chris.🚜
Being on the road can be fun once in a while. Glad your back home.
Hi Chris Mark and baby Logan here just txting to say that u did a fantastic job on the ponds and Logan loved u in the 550 he was over the moon whit it and the work it can do

When I was a kid playing in the dirt, Tonka toys were all steel and rubber, no plastic. You get to live those dreams I had.
Thank you and have a great time off. :)
That was definitely the little boy playing with his toys grin. Lol 😂
You love your equipment I can tell Chris with that smile! lol 😂 She’s cooking now Chris!
Love this relaxing video Chris .
Glad to see you are working on things you want to do❤❤❤
Good to be back home relaxing, on ur farm, after 2 wks building ponds. Good to see all equipment. U are blessed! Enjoy ur down time on farm!!! So enjoyed this video. God's blessings and be safe!
Chris, I have said it before and I will say it again, you sure know how to make a fire...
Nothing like being back home and playing around on the farm!
Ol` Betty is still high maintenance even when she sits. Looks like you want to mix some wood ash in with that topsoil pile you are saving. Starting a wet wood pile and not bringing the leaf blower to help boost it. Better reason to leave the grapple on is so you can have more "practice time'.

Nice toys dependability and well maintained
Hat off 📴
Job well done Chris
Have fun at the Florida showing. Any plans for a purchase? (!)
Betty: "A little whiff might have done the trick in my youth, but this old girl holds out for the good stuff!"
love the d6 fire up , full pond there, you got some cool equipment, betty's got it going on , 953 is quick
Again another great video , love all your machinery , great to watch you operating them . Thank you.
Enjoy watching you play in the fire. No doubt a glitch in my character. Thanks very much for sharing.

Yay, fire! Thanks for sharing.
Prime example of a dang good piece of equipment 👍
Enjoy your pond videos Chris, Mr.David got a beautiful place those ponds going 2 make it even better.
Since it has been raining so much how about a video on the ponds that you have competed and see how they look now vs then
You can go to bealys UA-cam page and see how much the 5 acre pond filled up
Thank you my friend
FIRE FIRE FIRE‼️ ♨️♨️♨️🤘🏻👍🏻 I enjoy watching your videos Chris. I went back and started watching from your first one. I'm just about to where I subscribed to your channel. Wow....quite a nice collection of eqpt you got there
Pretty amazing fleet of machinery. All the bad weather. You should go to some auctions with Clint from C&C! See ya in his videos!
Old used motor oil is awesome with a dash of cherry Diesel. Have a pile to burn my self .But is covered in alot of snow at present .Have to wait till the snow gets a little stronger in March than wooof!
That 6 is sweet!!😊
....LOOKIN' GOOD, NICE WORK, KEEP SAFE ...
Hey Chris, I would love to see drone footage of some of the big ponds you and John have done in the past 5-7 years.
Yes a video of every project that’s been seen on camera
Go through his numerous videos. If you haven’t seen them all, there is gold buried in his video list. If you have seen them all….you will enjoy going back through them and finding lots of what you requested.

Big Boy Toys! Love it!
That older equipment is still nice and it fairly holds its value and it works great in a pinch lol.
I needed a fire fix.Thanks
love the old IRON I started running equipment on them .....38yrs ago
I like watching the old Cats run that you operate - smooth and steady. I grew up around Traxcavators / 955s that dug the basements for my grandfather's jobsites. Glad you can get a break. You’ve been going since you were sick. Hard to sit still though I get it.

Nice job as always, just keep doing your thing.👍👍👍😎😎😎
Always enjoy the farm video
I understand rain is bad but please keep the videos coming. I am attached to them nightly.
Only thing missing now is a Tri-Axle dump truck and a nice Eager Beaver trailer to go behind it for the 953 ect.....

amazing job sir 😎👊🏻👍🏻 love the smile on your face at 4:15 love what you said at 7:14 lol 😂 love how you said I should put it in a bag and save it lol
We had a deere with a either addition even in the heat of the summer .2 stroke Detroit .
Amazing how Betty fires up so quick and easy.

Would love to see if Outdoor with the Morgan’s fire starter would start one of these burn piles!!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The burning episodes are my favorite
I TOTALLY ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO CHRIS 😊
An old root rack u can grab with grapple to sweep up with would be cool and something else to haul around.....lol
You could do some compost piles for planting in the future
Are you going to Florida for auction season again? Love those videos…
The auction listings seem like things are finally getting back to normal.
I had almost 3 arces of sycamore
Talk about fun to burn oh yeah
They burn if you let them dry for couple
Years but usually leave behind
Lots so lots extra fires to get rid of them
But did mine all by hand an compact
Tractor that wood ash is good for you're
Ground be great around new pond
Get good healthy grass for sure
Change direction on the roller on the joystick just lift it and rotate😉
I feel like I'm home again when you climb up in the 953 !
Chris,...I have a problem starting up my 2018 Takeuchi LT10v2 after a week and a half of not using it. I was told that the alternator could be draining the battery. Do you know how to check for parasitic draw? A 7-10 day draw down could indicate a gps tracker.
Thanks Chris 👌👍🍺
Hey Chris if your slow on projects just bring out the dogs, that will be plenty of entertainment
For a second there I thought we were going to see a go pro get crushed by a dozer. That would have been something different!
Great video thanks Chris
That ole Betty. She's high maintenance, but we love her. ❤️
Curious question, anyway you could set up your equipment so you have quick connections on the battery leads so if you have to jumpstart one you could do it with another one rather than having to use a jump box?
It might be the only machine on a job site.
Never fails Chris when you don't have a truck here it won't start but if you had your truck there it would have started thanks from Gary
Chris a bucket handle dose not compare to a drinking straw or an egg that I have seen you pick up .
Definitely faster and more thorough with the bucket and progressive link thumb...the rotary grapple has its place but that's more loading and handling logs and yeah I get its time to kill and play with the toys
How you park your gear is a reflection of your orderly mind. I do the same
That is the most expensive bucket toter I ever seen. Glad you took a little time to make us some content to entertain us ...Maybe you could make a video of painting up one of the dozers so they stay nice and new lookin.watchin on a rainy day in Mckinney Tx.
By the handle? You are the man!
