#Viking
my favorite AC game, I don't care what people say. "The First Departure" makes me feel so many things
Ikr, it's so good 😌
Yes, its the best of all series.
i think Valhalla made some really fine things, i liked how they moved away from the loot economy and made unique equipment once again. i absolutely adored the open world, each location was uniquely crafted and beautiful, the open world events were very charming and fun to do and for the most part the exploration was a solid experience. the story is captivating as well but to me this ambient music crowns the whole experience. sadly my favorite wasn't here, it's the one that plays in East Anglia during days.
Valhalla was sooooo close to being perfect. If they only cut the content by half, more people would've gotten to the end of the game and actually enjoyed the full experience. Some of those side zones should've just been merged or left without story content.
@@writershard5065 luckily Mirage is going to be a more compact experience, we will see if Ubi actually delivers on the promise of it being more like the old assassin's creeds were.
Valhalla, Odyssey and Origins will always be my favorites
It's such a breathtaking. Voices of Fornburg just stole my heart
I've loved all the AC soundtracks, but I have to admit this is the first time a soundtrack made me feel that same emotion as in the Jesper Kyd era.
He did work on it, after all.
AC Valhalla just won a Grammy ^^ so happy to enjoy its best soundtrack here ^^
Love and peace From EGYPT to ALL NORTHMEN
I don’t care about all the shit some people say about this game. It’s story is beautiful and complex in every way and the music just takes it to a whole new level, peaceful songs and combat songs alike. Assassin’s Creed continues to be a truly amazing franchise.
yeah the story is good, pacing is weird and side content is trash but id totally replay the main quests
this game is so shitty duud
People say that because games after Assassin's Creed III no longer have a soul.
I've played in: AC I, AC II, AC Brotherhood, AC Revelations, AC III AC IV, AC Origins, AC Valhalla. It wasn't until AC Valhalla convinced me to come back to the series, but mainly because I love Norse mythology. The game turned out to have a great combat system, average music compared to IV (I was expecting more Nordic roots like CDPR did in The Witcher, and I got modern Nordic-tinged songs), there was not much to sail around, the raids on monasteries were probably the best and they were just what I expected. I hate in this part when the game used drugs and psychotropics to explain its opponents' superpowers. In my opinion, they should cut it at all. From the third part, you can see that game producers are barely drawing the story. The first parts had great and, above all, full stories. Unfortunately, the newer ones (except AC IV) have these horribly weak stories and should be treated as DLC rather than full games.
The same goes for Valhalla, because the story from ISU is barely touched here. Instead, we run after a fool who wants to be a leader and does nothing about it. Throughout the game, you can feel that the main protagonist should be that chieftain. The plan for the survival of the Nordic pantheon wasn't brilliant either, but it's probably better than nothing. It looks like the producers are trying to stretch the main plot (there is nothing to deceive yourself
because, of course, it's about the ISU and the fight between assassins and templars) for a few games, creating weak games that can cope with the legend and popularity of the series. I would be lying if I said that I am not waiting for the next part and the main reason is that we will be following the story of one of the ISUs. I hope they stop the combat system and get rid of the superpowers. You can make an interesting combat system without that shit.
there was no story, it was go from point a to point b, and all the side content was copy and paste. Origins was much better. Valhalla was a cash grab. The music is good tho
@@alessiomojo3717 origins was indeed better but valhalla does have a story
I played many good games, and I can say that Assassin's creed valhalla along with the Witcher series are the best games ever made
Give me some Einar Selvik, any place, any day, any time.
11:28 is my fave in this sequel.
facts
yea this one catch my feelz too
@@narudavoyu5558 yep! Same feels majestic
Sometimes I can't help revisiting the story as I listen, such a great journey. It's perfect that this playlist ended with Leaving Valhalla, because the idea of living for the present is the culmination of everything in their journey. Instead of living life worried about escaping a destiny, prophecies, worrying about making it to Valhalla, there is a beautiful sense of fellowship in the end when Eivor chose to embrace the simple life with the community the built and rejects Odin's obsessions with power and immortality. Again and again the story reinforces the idea that it doesn't make sense to live in the past and miss out on what you have in the present.
Even Sigurd and Basim make the same journey of coming to terms with the present. People often underestimate the "dark night of the soul" Sigurd went through and don't cut him any slack... but he was a prince and an explorer who lost his way when his father gave away his kingdom in that humiliating way without even telling him. Then, his visions and damaged selfworth lured into a trap where he was ruthlessly tortured for many months, and finally came out a broken and mutilated man who tried to escape reality into an empty simulation where he could feel valued and whole again. But in the end he was very wise and humble when he stepped down as Jarl, and that smile when he made Eivor sit on the throne shows that he was finally beginning to heal and accept.
Basim also has these subtle human moments where he comes to terms with accepting the present. First he seems to still be committed to the Creed. Then he witnesses how Eivor interacts and even takes control over Odin, his old enemy. And he appears to finally understand that Eivor is more than just Odin. Also, when Hytham tells Eivor he was an orphan until the Brotherhood took him in, Basim smiles because it was him of course who stepped in as a father to Hytham... so while part of his mind (Loki) was still obsessing with losing his son in the distant past, we see Basim acknowledge that Hytham did fill in that void for him.
I love Einar Selvic, LOOOOVE, Im a die hard fan
It may "not really be an Assasins Creed game" but they never fail to make an amazing soundtrack, and ofc, they couldnt miss Einar for this game
It's not even a Viking game either. Although I think I'd rather have played on the side of the Christianized Europeans anyway. The Vikings really aren't the good guys.
@@connornicholas8628 This is about the music
@@connornicholas8628 Oh please. It's absolutely a Viking game.
@@jasonmacumber9804
My b. I forgot about the Asian women and dark-skinned Vikings from my history class. And the gays. And the women warriors. And how the Vikings were actually just totally the good guys and not barbarians.
@@connornicholas8628 neither were the christianized europeans who would torture and slaughter because a person or group of persons believed something other than their god, don't start the argument of who the "good guys" really were, when Christians have slaughtered far more people in the name of their god than vikings ever did
Soothing, calm, yet powerful, and inspiring to the spirit. Thank you.
I love every soundtrack of this game but 11:28 & 01:05:42 are my favourite 🐺❤🍃
Yes 11:28 is phenomenal.
It takes me away to someplace peacfull
I was looking in the comments for this part 11:28 and somehow i knew i found it when i saw your comment
Everything about this soundtrack freaking slaps, my god
People say it’s not an AC. Idc. I say it’s a ballerass game and deserves its place in the series
The First Departure ❤️
When I played this game, I’m feel relax.
Because of music
I was an avid AC fan remember the first one like it was yesterday and gamechanging that game was...stopped after 3 because it just kinda became the same thing IMO.. I missed Black Flag which I heard was the best one of all time...but I picked this up for $20 a few weeks ago and am having a blast with it! I'm about 88 hours in and haven't hit a wall yet as far as fun goes. The only critique I truly have is the mystery quests can be very cringe..
How nice it is to relax and listen to this sound
Peaceful? I'm Pumped!
22:56 this song goes so hard
Much appreciated for this list. Jesper Kyd and others truly put beautiful pieces of work into this game.
I look at this game not as an assassins creed game, but a faithful and tremendous Viking game
My roommate and I are both playing this game for the first time simultaneously. I’m on Steam and she’s on PS5.
She’s about 30 hours ahead of me. 60 | 35 hours. So far we’re both loving it.
I still say Odyssey and Origins are better but we’re both hooked
Update: We both finished the game, having made different choices along the way. I completed probably 95% of content in the game with about 200 hours put in.
Terrible waste of time. When I first made this post I was hoping for the story to pick up. Neither of us liked the story or characters aside from one or two moments. The exploration was good though. Definitely recommend skipping this one
@@drudenae I had a similar experience as you, initial excitement and then disappointment. I thought the tutorial / prologue was soooo darn good but as soon as the setting shifts to England the narrative just meanders
01:01:00 - Vigahugr - Lust For Battle || 01:20:43 - Dagar eru Taldir - Days Are Numbered
Beautiful
asta relaja muchisimo
i didnt really like origins and odyssey much but this game was so much fun, i loved the unique weapons and armor and upgrading them to see how they changed
I don`t know why, but I love it!!!
Thank you for creaing this playlist 💓 all my favorites are here!
Loved this game and this music
Man this is gold
Cool!
Best part about this game was everything but the story. They nailed the exploration, music, and combat. The skill tree could've use some work, but it still kinda works.
stopped playing AC partway through Origins as I wasn't a fan of the mmo feel of the game or the combat (I liked the OP counter kills lol, sue me :P), but this music is so close to getting me to want to play through them
I remember it was not more than a decade ago, by me just having runic tattoos I was labeled a neo-nazi. I'm really happy to see Norse mythology finally be accepted into the main stream. Much of our European culture has been marred by Hitler's appropriation of it.
The Asatru Folk Assembly doesn't help matters either
50:46 completely stopped my studying
best song ever
27:55 I feel. Somthing strange
Wonderful
As a Viking game this is honestly such a good game
Masterpiece as an ac too
Every time something says "peaceful" in the title, I know it's a lie. There's only, like, three youtube channels with ambient music that are true to their word.
I see your point however, peace lies with the beholder.
@@scallywag4978 Beholders are aberrations, and basically pure evil and egoism. So, I doubt that's true.
Wow…
You do realise that your idea of peaceful may differ from other people right?
@@GraciatusHaha, yeh. Either way, a 12-year-old (or clearly someone with the mind of a 12-year-old) trying to impart some folksy wisdom with a half-remembered, poorly structured aphorism which I'm sure they think sounds wizened is nothing short of hilarious to me.
"Peace lies with the beholder" huh?
You mean, in the eye of the beholder?
Is peace observable as a physical thing?
"Peace lies with the dead" feels more fitting.
"Peace sleeps with the fishes" maybe? 🤣🤣
So, basically Warduna album? :P
Best part is past 11th minute to the next theme
Anyone know what this music would be considered? Specifically 11:28
The first departure
Suuuuuuuuch a huge shame the music barely plays during gameplay even with the setting on high.
Some tracks are made for specific parts of the game, they are not all made for us to hear while riding a horse or walking around, it is actually a good thing to preserve the use of certain tracks, makes them more valuable and memorable when they appear.
can you pass the wallpaper ,is so cool!
it's a concept art for Siege of Paris, that snow effect was added by the uploader.
It is not a bad game at all, just get Basim Outfit and you'll be all good!
7:37 Uwu
52:37
01:15:40
01:58:38
This music is really good. Though not all of it is "Peaceful."
Wish there was no ads on the video, ruins the flow of it, and makes no sense, since not owner of the music
The game's story left me somewhat disappointed, but AC Valhalla's music is an absolute masterpiece. Every tune captivated me! It's remarkable how video games consistently produce some of the most exceptional music.
it might not be an assassins creed game but they never fail with soundtrack..
It's more an ac game then odyssey still XD
Valhalla has hidden ones. Hidden Bureaus, and social stealth is back along with a hidden blade. Odyssey pales in comparison to that.
@@DarkoRavens wtf do i need those when im not an assassin buddy both are not assassins creed
@@crazys4173 Well Odyssey is not. But Valhalla kind of is, despite all the unwarranted shit people say about it. Or pretty much every other game in the series for that matter.
Read the fucking title. It’s Assassin’s Creed 100%. If you can’t see that, then maybe you should find a different franchise
Extremely un-peaceful music
It's a pity that such a bad game has such awesome soundtracks. I really wished this game to be like Odyssey.
if this game was called just valhalla it would be 9 out of 10, but the prefix assassin made it 6 out of 10.
Cry about it dude. It’s Assassin’s Creed whether you want it to be or not.
viking and assassin heheheheh
Spelled Valhall wrong.
viking and Assassin's Creed wrong...viking fight like bear waaaaaaa no sense whit assassin's 🤣😂
isn't the first song out of tune, lmao ???
Hasan Saba never listen this shi...music grow up....
Sucky game but it has a great soundtrack.
i wish this game wouldnt have this much viking music and more tracks that lets you feel like you are an assassin....
At least the stealth theme is pretty good "Jesper Kyd - Silent Ambush"
did you hear real music Hasan saba master assassin....this game no need shi...viking music
