Trajal Harrell, "Friend of a Friend," the film | The Nomadic Nights - May 2021

On March 30, 2021, Trajal Harrell invited eight dancers to the Fondation Cartier for "Friend of a Friend," an exceptional live-streamed event: six uninterrupted hours from dusk into the depths of night, into the exhibition "Night into Day" by his friend the artist Sarah Sze. A loop of 11 dance pieces has been repeated three times, from 6 pm to midnight. This film shows a condensed version of it.
