ASU Founders’ Day 2024: Gina Woodall - Faculty Teaching Award

  • Gina Woodall is a triple Sun Devil, director for both the Capital Scholars Internship program and Community Engagement in the School of Politics and Global Studies and the recipient of the Faculty Teaching Award.
    Woodall discovered her love of teaching during her undergraduate studies. Motivated initially to become a lawyer, she found her calling in teaching and research surrounding the complex issues of political dis/misinformation and the role of women in the political arena.
    Woodall works diligently to prepare her students for their future careers and makes connections that align with their individual aspirations. Her work with students and alumni has been expanded and formalized in her roles with the Capital Scholars Internship program and Community Engagement.
