Good job on the review. I have this same model for a few years and really like it. The only issue I have is that every time I get it ready to grind I forget which way to place the blade..your video is a time saver. Thanks
Thank you! My daughter is out of the country and I've been tasked with grinding organs for our cat's raw food diet. I couldn't find the Instructions and she's 6 hours ahead of my CST. You're a lifesaver😎🙏
Thanks for taking the time to do the video......have to remember the bread. I've been looking at grinders for a while now. Seems like one of the STX will be winning out.
This is a meat only grinder. Doing large amounts of greens in it can cause undo wear and tear as plant cell walls are high in silica's. These silica's wear down the metal blades and the acidity in the plant juice can have adverse reactions with the metals as this machine also has aluminum parts not just stainless steal. You would have better luck with a juicer or a food processor and they would be much more affordable.
dude, put an amazon link to buy the item. I want to buy it and give you the credit for it because you made a very solid review. You could be making some serious money.
My dad has had this model for a year or so. I am borrowing it but he doesn't have the sausage plate. You said you had to order it seperate. Where did you order it????
I have two questions, First steel do you have this grinder? Second I heard after use couple of times the grindings plates color turn to black and no more use-able. Thank you
We still use the grinder almost weekly! My wife grinds pork for her egg rolls and we highly recommend it. She hand washes and dries the parts and it's never rusted.
PLEASE READ THIS: DO NOT grind Animal Tendons, Vegetables, Plants, Nuts or Fruits with this grinder. This is a "Heavy Duty" Household Meat Grinder and is Not Intended For Commercial Use. This MEAT grinder "WILL NOT" GRIND BONES! Although you may see customer comments/reviews indicating otherwise, results are not consistent and you will most likely be dissatisfied with your purchase of this product.

I've never tried to grind anything like that with it before sorry.

would be nice if you could also upload a video demonstrating how it works to grind broccoli and spinach.

Thanks for the review. Amazon currently has it around $160 and it includes the sausage stuffing plate.
love the kid's reaction!
Bought this for my dad for Christmas. He will primarily use it for a few deer a year. Haven't tried it yet myself but was curious to see it in action.
he will be happy. i just used mine yesterday to grind up some pork. i have a bunch of deer in the freezer i need to grind up for some jerky.
I would like to know how much noise makes.
Sounds quite loud but I am thinking of getting this, eBay has one for $170.
its not very loud it sound much louder in the vid
Seeing as I just drunkenly ordered 1 of these things from Amazon I hope it works for me.

Dan Hartle I bought it straight from the manufacturer, I think I just called them and ordered from them.

Yes I do, if you wash the plates in the dishwasher this will happen. If you hand wash, then dry quickly and oil the plates will be fine!
After few years do u still recommend it ?
And does it get rusty ?

Hey, is this grinder still going strong for you?
Yep I just used it yesterday
@@scpete28 Wow nice, wasn't expecting that. Definitely getting it now. Thanks!
