I have question and I'm not quite sure if it is in your expertise area, it is more theoretical than it is technical. regarding the heading styles, if I'm writing a report, thesis .. etc., which style is more preferred? I know that it is up the institute I'm working with, but is there is a standard or guide for making a decision in this regard? Thank you lot, happy to one of your subscribers.
That is a great question, Sam! If you are writing general content (nonfiction, business reports, marketing material, non-scientific case studies, etc.), I suggest following the recommendations of the Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition.

If I have a document with two languages and two types of fonts (Garamond for English and Yu Gothic for Japanese), is it possible to change the font type of only the Japanese text from Yu Gothic to MS Gothic, for example? Is it possible to change only the Japanese font size from 10 to 8? I looked this up on ChatGPT and followed the instructions, but after I select the font to search (Yu Gothic) in the Find and Replace dialogue box, it simply says that it doesn't find the font, even though it's there. Do you have any ideas on what I might be doing wrong? Thanks again and keep up the great work!
Thank you for watching! Unfortunately, I can't identify the cause of your issue. One suggestion is to make sure the Find What text box is empty in the Find and Replace dialog box and that there aren't any other parameters set (such as color, size, etc.) that could be affecting the search. I wish you all the best with your Word project!
Thank you for watching! If you don't mind losing other formatting from the copied text, the fastest way to correct this issue would be to re-paste the content as unformatted text. To do so, select Home > Paste menu arrow > Keep Text Only (clipboard with the letter A). Good luck!

But I need to replace Bold Italics with a character style. if I used Italics prior it affects and replaces Bold Italics with Italics
After coping and pasting to word Document. Words that was highlighted bold are pasted with ** around them. E.g. **Words**. PLC help fix this?
