Sorry sir but when showing the stand in relation to the slope, would it be correct to add landfill under the "THE BUILDING" and just show the slope for the timber deck?

Hi sir I am sorry for the trouble but I am a bit lost regarding the slope ,when doing the elevation do we do the plotting on our elevation and then draw ontop of it because my teacher never explained our pat thoroughly so I am finding it a bit hard to understand

Sorry sir but I also wanted to ask if it's ok for the height of the building to be 5 meters

Hi Josia, thanks for the question. If you are referring to the rough drawing I did from the 7min mark to determine the slope, that scale is determined by the page size you are using. I did my example on an A4 so used scale 1:400. Remember, the actual measurements never change. For example for Scale 1:400, you just devide the actual measurement, 115000mm for the long boundary, by 400 and it gives you the millimeters to draw on your A4 paper. Let me know if that helps you. Cheers

@@HowToEGD thanks for enlightening me on that too , but my problem is the measurements of the contours line ( the 430 435 440 445 how do i measure them

@@innocentjmathonsi thanks for the feedback. I am a bit restricted in my ability to effectively communicate to you via this chat forum and from your comment it isn't 100% clear what is the core of your problem. I encourage you to check in with your teacher who I am sure will be able to assist you with the finer details/explanations of scale. All the best for your PAT completion.

Excuse me but I'm having the same problem, did you happen to figure it out @Josia Mathonsi?

@@rahimagierdien7177 re-reading this thread, it seems the problem is with regard to the spacing of the Contour lines on the site plan... If this is the case, you can estimated to good proportion the correct spacing as it is not exactly defined in your brief. All the best with your PAT!
