What additional portable equipment do I need to get this to interface with my iPad in a way that I can record electric guitar straight-in (avoiding a traditional guitar amp), dry, and listen to it on headphones (real time)? As a track is being laid down in my iPad app/DAW; I'm seeing the waveform forming on my iPad. Allowing me to select different effects in an iPad app/program so that I can hear them (wet) real-time. Basically, how do I get this to interface with an electric guitar?

The F8 will connect to your iPad using the iPad Camera Connection Kit. You can record as you described using the Garageband app.
So essentially I can plug my electric guitar directly into the ZOOM F8?
WideOpenChange Yes, that should be no issue!
I'm order F4 next Monday...
Does anyone know the price? Also are they going to include an input for the Return signal?
+psychodraculo $1000
Thanks! Not bad!
Mark is the best!
