I can hardly belive that that only took you 6 houres! Thats a story on its own. You can make it a longer one but it already transports the atmosphere very well! I think i´ve never seen someone else in the process of developing a story. Thanks for sharing!
To be honest I did surprise myself haha, it was very much a fluke. I must have been feeling very inspired that day. Yeah when I finished it I was like this is actually conveying a bit of a mood, and kind of works on its own. Yeah def I don't see it often either!
This is awesome. I really enjoy that it reads like the old Ravenloft novels of the 90s...Don't know if that's intent but the style you have written is so much fun. It's so cool that your presenting "lore" in the way it should be that is to say as a interactive device...Far to much time is hung up on RPG lore being this odd static thing, it's not, it's to serve the game and the imagination of those that interact with it. Really enjoying watching these interesting and refreshing takes that move away from standard UA-cam "rpg" videos.
Thank you so much that really is a compliment! Actually I was tempted to pick one up, but I decided not to in the end as like a challenge to see how it would turn out. For sure, I see lore as like a tool and how a person uses it depends on the job.
@lorenmakesvideos you emulated the TSR novel style really well all the same. With GrayHawk "coming back" this week, it's got me thinking about the interchangeable nature of elements of D&D yet there settings being largely distinct. Which I think is a real strength of the game.

Def, a good idea/concept is always transferable and adaptable but still has that signature feel about, no matter what people do with it

Controversial! 😆
