Kingy, I live in the heart of Louie Louie music. In fact I think Louie Louie is the state song of Washington. There was an early 60s band named The Kingsmen. They took this song to the top. There were other Washington bands like The Wailers, The Sonics, and Paul Revere and the Raiders that had great success recording this one.

Many thanks for your comment Greg, never heard of them, apart from the kingsmen , but I will do some research and see what comes up . Nottingham hasn't produced many bands that's for sure, Liverpool produce more in a year then Nottingham as in 20 years. Keep smiling 🙏🥁😁👍

@ Paul Revere and the Raiders had a Louie Louie spin-off titled Louie Go Home. I always really liked that one too.
