Great video 🤩 i had the same issue with the pants, they weren't as high waisted as i expected them to be but overall really cool pants Loved your final outcome 🤩
Love everything. I love the jamesia but the first time it came out really big to me as well and I did the same you adding a waist band, actually all mood patterns are big I always have to size down. This top I didn't know but love the fit, gonna give it a try. Thank you for your videos, I love your channel
Oh thank you so much! I am so glad to hear you did the same (great minds think alike! :D) I did have the sizing issue with the ren jeans too so I think you are right they are running a bit larger! The sylvan tank is amazing!

You did great work, and your garments turned out beautiful. As a beginnier, I would suggest for tutorials of patterns with vague instructions, can you slow the video down, explain how to do each thing (invisible zippers, darts, etc)? I think this would be far more comprehensive for people that aren't advanced sewers.
The jacket is very cute! I'm going to check that one out. 😊 When the armhole and collar failed to align initially, was that due to the drafting or just little errors in the sewing? 🙂
@recreatefulchannel Well, it is a free pattern after all - the designer may not have had as strict quality control vis-a-vis walking the sleeve cap and armholes, neckline and collar. Still really cute, though🙂
I'm assuming the pattern instructions failed to explain it sufficiently but you needed to work in the excess sleeve fabric into the sleeve cap of the armscye as ease. The way you have it now the shoulder is a 90° angle like -| when it should be curved like -) to allow room for your shoulder and natural movement.
I'm not sure I understand what you mean. There was no mention of a pleat on the sleeve part :/ but there were not just straight, they do have a curve and it is very easy to move in the jacket.
I have a pattern from mood printed and stuck together.howver I'm not sure about what size to cut for myself can you give some guidance on how u chose what size u cut out?
It would be really helpful to tell us the size you chose so we can compare our body size to yours for better size matching. I know alot of sewers are hesitant to do this for fear of that number. Aren’t we in a better place in life the number doesn’t matter only the fit. I am may be a smidge bigger than you and I have found in some patterns I’ve had to cut a 3X to make it fit.
The pants fit really nicely. I liked the jacket construction. Thanks
Thank you! 🩷😊

Thank you so much!!
I think maybe we've got a long torso, which is why I they end up being lower on us? 😂
I'm glad you like it! ❤️

Thank you so much :)
The intention of the video is not to be a step by step tutorial, it just to test the pattern :)
@@recreatefulchannel Thank you for your clarity. You did a great job.
@@jamialaprince6556 thank you so much! :)
This jacket is exactly what I've been looking for!!! a perfect example of making what you can't find in stores!
Omg that is amazing 😍 definitely a great pattern!

I've been wearing it SO MUCH, you won't regret making it!
I think it was due to the pattern, I sewed it exactly as per the instructions 😊

Can you make an entire video on how you installed the invisible zipper??
I would if I felt any confidence in what I've done 🙈😂 I struggle with zippers!

I usually just go for what size I am in clothes that you can buy. Mood patterns tend to run big though so maybe double check the measurements :)
@@recreatefulchannel AHH thank you. Gna get cutting in the morning then. Love Ur channel!

@@kimberlyhashagen5621 I did a 14. But I have to adjust the sleeves for bigger bicep measurements
Really want to do this but my fear of failing is holding me back
You are going to rock this!! The patterns are great and there is nothing that can't be fixed! I'd say go for it 🩷🩷
How much do we need just for the jacket
The mood website suggests 4 yards for the trillium set so I would assume you need about 2 yards for just the jacket :)
Pretty much beautiful jacket sisters ❤, where are you from sister
Thank you so much 🩷 I'm from Germany! 😊
