Miss those tactile days. The cassette player with the heavy metal buttons. The vinyl, the cover art, the record player. We carried music around and music was more appreciated.

I was 15 when most of these came out. Thanks for the upload. Brings back old times listening to these on my Walkman and my ghetto blaster. They don't make music like this anymore more's the pity.
I was on Heaven in Gothenburg their Sanny played as a DJ. 4 A-600 cerwin-vega amplifier pumping red all the time and Sanny msde some incrrzible mix. He had also have a digital delay. I saw it and collected to buy the same. Beat breaker machine. Then I took him to a former place in Halmstad. Wa-Waco. Much bigger place. But I loved Heaven. Have worked as DJ in 15 years. Sanny is the king. Genious in music. Have worked with DMC also.

That part from 10:01 up to that insane drum edit at 10:20 gives me goosebumps, just like it did back in '84. Sanny X was the king of the crazy ass edits back in the days.
@@Yemsky For real? I did not know that. Even the isolated snare break at the end? Cause I don't think I ever heard that in the original version. But you're absolutely right. I heard this track in this mix first before I heard the original version or even watched Beat Street. That's why I always thought it was Sanny X who did that.
@@SkateGK Hmmm, I just did a quick search on UA-cam, and I can't find it on the videos uploaded here. I do not own the Sanny X DMC mix, but that segment is totally familiar to me - I need to dig out my vinyl.
I still have hair, with a slight bald patch ( i am 50 ) I grew up with all these tunes, old skool B'Boy here. I remember back in 83/ 84 when break dancing was huge, everyone would say "Don't do the head spin" it will cause baldness. How funny was that & how time fly's my friend. B'Boy for life......Peace Kevin Sweeney !
Your totally correct...I thought I had corrected the mix straight after I uploaded it,I remember confusing it with a pop mix by AC....It's been corrected now.
Old school Super Master mix

Everywhere that you may go
Where jammin' in the street
All the people that you meet
Dance to the beat
If you come to New-York City
You'll never be the wack
When you see us city kids
Spinning on our backs
I like the way he does that dance
When he glides across the floor
You know it really blows my mind
I always yell for me
I can't believe the things I see
Like diving on the ground
Then he's standing on his head
And groovin' to the sound
Refrain:
Now just let your body move
Street dance, Street dance
Put your feet into the groove
Street dance, Street dance
When you feel your body shake
Street dance, Street dance
Then you know you've got to break
All the people that we know
Are rockin' on the one
On the corner of Chi' Town
They're breakdancing for fun
At the night clubs…

We started dancing and love put us into a groove
As soon as we started to move
The music played while our bodies
Displayed through the dance
Then love picked us out for romance
I thought it was clear
The plan was we would share
This feeling just between ourselves
But when the music changed
The plan was re-arranged
He went to dance with someone else
We started dancing and love put us into a groove
But now he's with somebody new
What does love want me to do?
Love said
Let the music play
He won't get away
Just keep the groove
And then he'll come back to you again
Let the music play
He won't get away
This groove he can't ignore
He won't leave you anymore
He tried pretending a dance is just a dance, but I see
He's dancing his way back to me
Guess he's discovered we are truly lovers
Magic from the very start
'Cause love just kept me groovin'
And he felt me movin'
Even though we danced apart
So we started dancing and love put us into the groove
As soon as we started to move
As soon as we started to move
Love said
Let the music play
He won't get away
Just keep the groove
And then he'll come back to you again (let it play)
Let the music play
He won't get away
This groove he can't ignore
He won't leave you anymore (no, no, no)
He tried pretending a dance is just a dance, but I see
He's dancing his way back to me
He's dancing his way back to me
We started dancing and love put us into a groove
What does love want me to do?
Let the music play
Let the music play
He won't get away
This groove he can't ignore
He won't leave you anymore

It was good for the time, but Sanny-X took things to a new level for electro mixes.
