Thank you for your excellent comparison of two nice watches. It is difficult to choose one, but the simplicity of the quart movement wins for me. I would choose the Addiesdive, the easy opening of the caseback on the Addiesdive is a plus, easy to change battery.
These are both awesome! I would probably have the Addiesdive. Set and forget it plus it has more water resistance! Still I think you could buy both and not be disappointed!
Both watches represent exceptionally good value, the attraction of an automatic movement wins over for me, but hard to argue with $50 for the simplicity of the Addiesdive.
I have several NH movement watches and they've been great, but I opted for the quartz option here, partly for the price, but also for the longevity. Nothing is guaranteed, but quartz watches tend to run trouble-free for an insanely long time with nothing but occasional battery replacements. I also like the quartz tick because it makes it less of a clone and more of an homage.
Hello!! new to Horology, the best of the two words that sound the same. Going with that, I'm always looking for value. Im thinking of addiesdive watches for learning on em. The videos you make, mirror my way of thinking. I think they are both amazing at a working mans pay type deal, and practical. When it comes to watches think of Ivan Drago in the Rocky movie "If He dies, He dies" because I only had watches for deployments and field time. These two are way better the Casio field watches I am used to wearing. Thanks to you, and more Thanks for the Star Wars zingers :). My executive summary: The San Martin Sounds Cooler than the nerdy kid with the pocket protector Addie. I like your explanation better...
Addiesdive watches say deepsea hunter because to the Chinese its just decoration. They have no concept of meaning. A bit like how they put 300M on some watches, it means nothing.
😀I think you have no idea what they think and know in China. If I rephrase a little, then you are writing something that you yourself are not exactly sure of.
In Toronto canada I buy a super super clone I bring it to a rolex expert he say it was real rolex . Unbelievable. Your super clone look just like mine. You a expert but a regular person like me will never know. Imagine on nkuwan

A great, clear, no nonsense comparison review.
Thank You.👍
Thanks for the comparison video, I just got my Addiesdive based on it. It looks phenomenally good for the money.

Yeah, it's hard to believe how well the ADDIESDIVE competes with the San Martin.
I have the Addiesdive. Fantastic watch for the money. Couldn't decide quartz or automatic so i bought a Invicta pro diver automatic too.

I wish more chinese brands would at least offer the option of a Sapphire crystal on their Quartz watches
Great video. Thanks!

Great review!
Nice comparison video.
I'm not a fan of GMT watches, that extra hand just confuses me 😃
Thanks
I would buy the Addies right now if it weren't for the fact that I'm not a fan of GMT. NH35 edition, please.
Both watches are cool, great vid, keep it going!
Addiesdive all the way for me (even with their stupid brand name and logo)
Curious the differe in finishing.
I didn't notice any difference in the cases.
All San Martin under 250 Euro suck! Thanks for the detailed review 👍👍👍
Who would buy a SM over $100 when real brands like Seiko, Citizen, Orient etc exist?
@@20cent Real brands!! With clattering braceletts, mineral glass, presses clasps,........

What do you think of the sugess chronographs with the mechanical movement coming out of China?
This watch most certainly does not suck.
