    A tocada do cara da Drz é maior que o da CRF pois ele toca bem mas falta um pouca pra igualar com o da DRZ. É isso pessoal acelera só tudo mas cuidado nas estradas, pois acidentes anda acontecendo direto. #Ficadica.

    The DRZ400E was NOT a dual sport. They made an "S" version for street.
    Anyhow, you can't buy new ones in the states unless it's a leftover. The recession killed the market.
    The thing ripped power, but I put a racing pipe on it and it really flew. I tried many different trail bikes, including the KTM, the KDX, KLX and the WR before I bought my DRZ.
    Sorry, but it was, hands down, the best. It also had the magic button- which the other bikes at that time lacked.
    This video makes me miss my bike!

    No one can say anything bad about the drz 400. It has been in production for over 10 years with almost no major changes in the design, thats a pretty good testament to its reliability and overall status as a bike. I love mine!

    Main difference between the two is the Honda will be rebuilt many times before a single bolt is turned on that DRZ's motor. Mainly because the CRF is way more of a lightweight motocrosser.

    not really, i believe the only difrence is a heavier flywheel and a less agresive cam, oh and also a stuffed up intake and exhaust, but these bikes love getting top end rebuilds and eating up valves all the time

    the DRZ 400 is not a real enduro bike, let's say it's a sport trail-bike, but it can go fast in good hands. It's a multipurpose bike, you can go to work with it, take a ride on the countryside beautiful roads, and go race with your off-road friends on weekend...

    My friend rides a drz400, never touches the engine. The only thing I do not like about my crfx is the titanium valves, there so soft and need constant tuning. Also the drz has a higher oil capacity, where I am constantly eating oil he has a secondary reserve built into his frame. But I have double the suspension travel, crazy hp, and the thing weighs nothing. Drz is a great woods bike, but on straight sand nothing can touch a crfx.

    Is a drz a heavy bike?? I want to buy one some day, and are they worth the money?

    • @74KU
      @74KU 8 років тому

      they are heavy for a 400 at about 130kg, you can get a more modern (the DRZ design has not been changed in 16 years) bike at around 110ish kg but you pay with less reliability and more frequent service periods (generally)
      IMO they are very worth the money, practically bulletproof with a couple of cheap mods.. however they are on the slower side for a 400, but incredibly moddable.. it really depends what you want out of a bike.

    • @danieldeutschen
      @danieldeutschen 8 років тому

      +74KU with a couple of mods you can actually get a drz over 50hp. But it's no longer a 400 then

    • @74KU
      @74KU 7 років тому +1

      Daniel Deutschen
      You can yes, tho it is about roughly $1000-$1500 of parts and dyno to do it right and it does sacrifice some of the legendary reliability. I think a 434 big bore with other mods is the most common way to a 50+.
      Personally I am happy with the little mods that give it that little extra without really compromising that bulletproof bike, after all its why so many DRZ owners ride them.

    • @danieldeutschen
      @danieldeutschen 7 років тому

      yeah you're right, I#d rather not worry much about my engine then having 7hp or so more

      They are different. I have a k model drz400 and my brother has a crf450x. They weigh the same. They are about the same speed. The CRF feels faster because the way it’s tuned and it’s stiffer. The DRZ is the better of the 2 because it’s so dialed in for rideability and comfort.
