Last day on earth says that they have increased the chances of getting gas tank
So it is now 40% and don't forgot to use full advantage of it

It's definitely not 40%. Some people are struggling to find engine parts but have gas tanks. Others are struggling to find wrenches, but have engine parts. And others can't find the gas tank but have wrenches and engine parts. Basically, what I'm saying is that it depends which server you're on. In other words, the game is broken.
40% my ass, I'm at my 11th chest (yellow and red combined) and still dont have the damn thing!
It’s not 40%... I’ve opened about 37 red crates, gotten duplicates upon duplicates, yet I still don’t have the tank.

Before the fire and gas tank those were just 3 pictures... you opened 3 red crates
Based on my experiences, before you do open the crates make sure you dont have anything with you or just trash items... I did this however sometimes the loot is poopy but sometimes it is super good like for an example I got 2 shotguns from the yellow box and a Mini Gun from the red one and other Modded guns. Try it, from my experiences it is pretty consistent.

I waited a month - (played everyday at level 99) before finally got a gas tank to complete my chopper yesterday. I almost gave up - and occupy most of the play time (before getting the tank) - collecting parts to finalize the generator.
By the time i got the gas tank, my generator already finalize and ready for the watchtower.
Seriously, the wait is so agonizing. I didn't bother to make any engineer crate purchase because there is no guarantee there will be gas tank inside. Heck, i saw someone bought 20 engineer crates and not even a single gas tank inside. What's the purpose spending so much money to buy something you are unsure of? I think this the part where the game lacking. The materials required to build some stuffs are so absurd!
Yes, the wait for the gas tank is a painful time. But at least you got it!
I just purchased the full version of survival guide and got every single stuff required for chopper.

Btw u can clear most of floor 2 and 3 and you’ll have the green and yellow crate. You’ll clear it the 2nd time then get all 3. It’s very worthwhile

Man... the pain it was trying to get that gas tank was stupidly and incredibly high, people never will feel that sensation of getting that goddamn gas tank

7 months later and my procouciation is still crippling
Best way is to use normal swords and bow, then you get enough green tikets there will be atleast a weapon , enough to complete the yellow crate then you need to kill frenized giants with weapons or wodden bows, for me works every time , + i farm seeds for carrots cuz one carrot restore 15 health so fight auto and spam food for regen

The chopper fork is (in my opinion) easier than the tank. You can get it out of the yellow and red ticket crates.

You can get them. From what I heard, you get the gas tank and mini-gun in the same crate.

You need to grind bunker alfa alot for guns and armor to clear bunker bravo to get ATV , its really hard , currently 23 people have the ATV
