Secondly now a days time scales are there but earlier there was nothing , so we were coming out service with initial ranks of SEPOY where as now every body comes out on HAVILDAR pension, or HON SUB.MAJ, so even if OROP is given, my father will get sepoy pension who retired on DEC 1965, AND WHOSE FATHER EXPIRED, his mother will get half of that pension
More over JCOs, NCOs & ORs pensions / pay / promotions are reduced in comparision of OFFICERs,what to speak of civilians comparision, like earlier IAF Personnel pay / rations used to be more than Army personnels,which got even less than them in 1996 onwards, PBORs pensions used to be calculated on highest of the scales, for which non of our commanders talk, they are worried about them selves only, so is no pension on GCB PAY since 1986 for PBORs
