Fantastically good presence and performance by that young sax man!! Got to be real good to hang with Bob! Too sadly ironic they were playing in "Freedom Hall" since years later it is probably anything but free since the russian Government's military invaded...hope the young sax phenom got the hell out before it was too late...GEEZ!😮💨
This is super cool. I know that there is only one David Sanborn, but Andrew is extremely talented. His sounds and improvisation skills is extremely accurate and beautiful, making justice to the melodic phrases of this beautiful tune Bob James you are my keyboard and piano hero man.

Playing an instrument is like the song by Phil Collins, You cant hurry love. Your love for music and your instrument will get you to the promise land with time. Your mind, muscle memory and your ear will get you there but only with time and practice. I have been in music for over 30 years and every day I learn something new. First time listening to Andrey. Great Job!
It's more of a Supreme's song since they released it 16 years before Collins. It was written by Motown staff writers.

Maybe I need to look at that Nord stage 3 again, very close to the Rhodes and travel capable instead of lugging that Mark5 around the world. Very cool! Sax was awesome. But could an aerophone 30 do a decent job there too?

A very nice performance, and Chmut did really well. I'm wondering why the theater didn't supply James with a real piano. There really is no substitute. There's something about those electronic keyboards that's thin and insubstantial, but James carried it off well, as he always does.

Andrey; i love your sound, your melody, your groove.. Im a saxophonist about 1.5 years from turkey. Do you have any advices about how to be a great groove saxophonist for me? Sometimes i can be hopeless about my instrument and my career. Or just fuck it. Im 16. Whatever. This shit is look like tough but im a believer you know. See ya andrey
Greatness comes with patience, practice and listening to great jazz musicians. You cant hurry love. Ten years from now you are going to look back and realize how much your playing have improved. When I first started playing the sax I sounded like a bleeding goat. Dont be discouraged. You can't hurry love.
