Left this under another comment, but I'm just gonna make this my own so people can see it better. Nice vid btw. As an Ibara main who loves her from the bottom of my heart, she's not good. But not because she's "bad". It's because: 1) Her kit doesn't work half the time (Alpha disappears, Gamma whiff and doesn't do damage). 2) Her kit doesn't synergize all that like other characters. For the latter point, consider Mr. Compress. He is a ranged character with a very powerful projectile. This range attack is more useful with high ground, so his Gamma allows him to easily reposition above targets. Finally his Beta lets him reflect other ranged attacks. So if you get into a shooting match with Compress, he's probably gonna win (or at least has the natural advantage). So how can they apply this to Ibara? Because just raw damage buffs (while nice) aren't the solution. 1) Fix her Alpha and Gamma to function properly and consistently. 2) Lower end lag on her Alpha & Beta so you don't get melted while your stuck in place for 3 seconds. 3) Have her Beta function like Aizawa's gamma where it can block certain projectiles while the vines are out. This would make the move safer to use and allow Ibara to have better defense since she lacks mobility (which in this game you 1 or the other). 4) Improve her special action in 1 of 3 ways: . . . A) Allow her to revive teammates from farther away. Every revive skill has some extra trait that makes it better than just "get somebody up on the spot". (Froppy pulls allies to her, Cementoss raises a wall so you can heal safely, Deku can carry you to safety, etc). Ibara has none of this. Worse, still she is a "ranged support" but her actual support ability forces her out of position to get close enough to a teammate to revive. It's counter intuitive. . . . B) Give her the Dabi treatment. Her Special Action has two functionalities. Revive a teammate, or revive herself (anyone too close gets hit with a bed of thorns). This would use up her revive and not allow her to save an ally until it recharges. . . . C) Give her two Special Actions like All Might. Her revive as usual, and another version of "Faith's Shield" that erects a wall of vines over an area to block attacks and pursuers. It has it own separate cooldown just like All Might. Of these 3, I think A or C would make the most sense/be the most balanced.

Ibaras never been bad imo I think people just didn’t understand how to the character, only her beta really needed tweaking but a damage buff kinda seems like they’re going in the wrong direction

not great but a lot of players suck at positioning and terrible early game so ibara is not as easy other characters for most players
