There's nothing quite like the feeling of wearing clothes that fits your body for the first time-whether you're tall or short, big or skinny.
For shorter guys, especially, that feeling can be magical. Shorter guys, under the average (American) height of 5'8" who dress well are impressive because for one, they've learned how to dress well which is an art in itself, and two it's hard as hell finding quality clothes that actually fits without the help of a tailor.
To make things worse, most major fashion retailers and stores at the mall discriminate against short guys. You'll always find big & tall, but nothing labeled for shorter gents.
Thankfully brands like Ash & Erie exist. In this video, I share my thoughts on the fit of their clothing.

I just wish their clothing were more affordable. I own their jeans and flannel and they have a sticker that clearly says "Made in China" nothing special about it.

Do you ever try American Eagle jeans?, luckily their Slim AIrFlex Jeans (color 534) fit me (I'm 5'6) super well.
But I haven't had any luck with the t-shirts and shirts.

What' sup man...I haven't tried any XS yet. I was concerned it'd be too tight. But I may try one in the future.
Their XS casual shirts are too tight for me (166cm and 138lbs). Their XS Flannel shirts and T-shirts are good fit though.

Hey Khoi, this question addresses another topic of mine. Should I choose a dark brown suede Chelsea boot or a lighter brown/cognac color suede if I want the boots to be more versatile in my outfits? Help me with this question if you can please. Thanks. Great video as always!
Me Too hey, love seeing you in the comments! Thanks for the question. I'd opt for a dark brown (chocolate perhaps even oxblood) pair over a lighter brown/cognac. Keep in mind as a general rule of thumb, the darker brown, the more versatile it can be. Of course it comes down to your aesthetic and personal preference as well. Any brands you have in mind?

@@gentwithin Appreciate that you replied with your chest measurement here. I love when reviewers include their body measurement stats so I can make a more informed choice on sizing. We have almost identical stats! I'll look into buying the A&E Slim Small as well based the info here, thanks!

i am afraid slim fit might be too tight after washing.
no I haven't, only slim small and slim xs which looks good on my frame, just a bit tight in the chest area. I think for you, slim small is a good bet.
in terms of shrinkage, there's not much if any at all.
