I love love love cozy dark evenings, but it does get to a point where the nights start to drag on and seem too long. The brighter evenings make it more bearable now. A nice refresh.

Those bunny cookies had me laughing. They definitely look a little scary but at least they were good. I love the dark, cozy evenings as well but always look forward to spending more time outside in the summer. Your dad's food always looks so good!

Mindy! Hello!!! There are little silicone type mats that are textured for cleaning makeup brushes. They even have suction cups on the bottom to stick to the inside of the sink. 5 Below and amazon have them for sale. Makes it quick and easy! 😊

I am so sorry about your loss. Losing pets is so hard because they are family. We lost 5 dogs and a horse within a 3 year period. All the dogs were close to the same age. You probably saw a few of the dogs on Mindys videos. Then our horse prince passed. Sending hugs and prayers to you.

My dad had a collie named Lassie too once. In the 60s. :). I am always reading. Currently into Ann Perry books. I have too many to count currently waiting on my shelves but they range from murder mysteries to paranormal and medical stories. I get them from thrift stores and book exchange mainly. I do love a good free library too! Wow, that was amazing amount of food! Leftovers? Lol wish it was smell o vision, yummy! Looked really yummy.
I have finished 6 books since January. I actually have listened to them through Audible so I guess that still counts. Thanks for encouraging us to read this year!

It has been 10+ since I've dyed my hair. My hair is to my lower back and healthy. I'm 42 and have 2 adult daughters and still remember wanting to change my hair but happy I haven't. 😊

I had to laugh at your Sublime shirt. They were a punk band in the 90’s and the faded dark wash was a popular look. I’m not sure how old you are but I was in high school at the end of the 90’s. I was wondering why I was so sluggish and tired yesterday. Then I remembered the time change, definitely affected me.
Clinique makes a brush cleaning spray. I use that and dawn dish soap. Let them soak in a bowl for a bit, then rinse out. I do this once a week(every Sunday). It works well.

Haha i always plan my brush cleaning around when i know i dont want to wear makeup because i dont have that many brushes and wouldnt want them wet!

I like the book update. Jimmy Kimmel had a segment recently where people on the street were asked about the last book they read. No one could list a single book. It was funny but sad too. Books are awesome and important. Love that you read to your son and books are apart of your families life. I was introduced to Paula Brackston a few years ago and I'm enjoying reading the Garden of Promises and Lies.
It's part of a series I believe.

Florida Girl here... I love falling back, too. I think this is the last year of time change. Also, SkinCeuticals products are the best on the market for acne & anging. Highly recommend. Expensive but so fabulous. I use the Salicylic Acid serum & I can't say enough.

Hi Steffers. Mindys mom here. I love audible. I don’t know what genre of books you like but I really enjoyed Michael Connelly’s The Poet series. It is crime and suspense. There are three books in the series. The Poet, The Scarecrow, and Fair Warning. The Harry Potter series is phenomenal due to the narrator who is top notch. I have listened to many others but those stick out.

Im going to give you some exciting advice. As an adult you don't have to read a specific book if you don't want to. I know its crazy. If its too much of a struggle to read it you are not enjoying it or its not for this time of your life. Find another one ;)
