I WISH I still had the passion to play it, but its getting severely overshadowed by greninja and dragapult. It is a shame, too, there was so many ideas i had for the deck. Running baton to keep energies on your board, running klefki or flutter mane for more effect negation, there was so many options of what to do with the deck, and now its a massive uncertainty and that bums me out-
I'm still keen for it, it has very favourable match ups into the META. I had a similar feeling for greninja, I want it to be good but seems to slow to set up and like Dragapult just does a better job without discarding energy.
Absolutely could or even as a future box deck. Decided to go for the quad thorns build as it doesn't give opponents the option to gust up something else into the active allowing them to use abilities. By only benching iron thorns you effectively shut off abilities all game unless they have cancelling cologne
