I am from Istanbul, Turkey. Thanks for the video. I want to ask you about why this camera is too expensive ? compare to Fujifilm X T 5, there is a price difference. It is a wonderful camera but I wish It could be affordable.
In my not so humble opinion it beats the xt5 in everything but weight and ergonomics. Image quality, camera aesthetics, monochrome mode, af, video all go to the zf. Well done Nikon! (just put a goddamn joystick and tilt screen next time)
It is a good camera for sure, not sure if it completely beats the X-T5 in all those categories (especially video, AF is ok but kind of hunts as well and IBIS was not great either in my test) but I like it.
@@ThierryGibraltaIBIS is incredible for Handelheld shooting. The xt5 feels like a toy after holding the ZF. ZF is bar far the better camera, especially in ISO performance and overall iq.
The 28mm and 40mm prime lenses are the way to go with this camera. Definitely wouldn’t suggest a giant lens without a grip. Since you’re in Japan Nikon actually makes a really nice grip for this camera only available in Japan. If you find one, buy two and send one my way. I’ll Venmo you!
Great video and picture! I'm planning to go to japan in 2 weeks, and I am looking to buy the Nikon zf. But when i look into MapCamera, Fujiya, it is back ordered. Is there a store that sell the Zf or not? Thank you !!
@@ThierryGibralta ahh its unfortunate, maybe i'll buy the sony a7c instead, I'm looking for a compact mirrorless coming from a 1kg tank that is d800 xD
Nice video. I used to own an Xpro2 but feel disappointed in how Fuji cameras changed. The XT5 feels way cheaper than the XT2 or XPro2 did. Waiting to try a Zf which I am told feels high quality with much nicer dials
Okay, that makes muchhh more sense. The image looks wayyy too good to be an Osmo Pocket or GoPro. But the wide lens had me questioning myself! The color of your talking portions really looks great btw.
i wanna know where u get the zf in tokyo been searching it for all the shops i knew around tokyo but they all said currently no stock and made to order for about 3 to 6 mos
What did you think of the 28-75 f2.8? Seems like the IQ sits right between Fuji XF zooms (18-55, 16-80) and red badge 16-55… apparently it’s a reskinned Tamron 🤔
Honestly, nothing special. I did not focus on testing the lens itself. It AF pretty well, the sharpness is alright but I was not blown away either. It did its job.
@@ThierryGibralta it's very vibrant on screen but dull during import. It's of course fixable but needed to fix my expectations and how I would perceive it.
What do you want to know about the Nikon Zf ? PS: Sorry for the audio but it was very noisy that morning

@@showmoon it is a 300$ difference, mostly sensor (full frame) and body quality as well. The screen is bigger, more dots and brighter, headphone jack…
Even the shots out of the camera the color is beautiful.
love the Nikon Zf, a piece of art 😍

How are the colors coming out of this camera? Better than FOOJ?
Definitely not imo. You need some more work to bring them out. But they are not terrible either. Just not at the level of film simulations

its a super-fun camera for sure!
Definitely! Was fun to shoot, although it was very early morning lol

@@shadowrevivaldon't buy sony in Japan unless you know Japanese. Can't change the language on Japanese Sonys
@@kaluakoala are you sure of this? And for Nikon zf? No English menu available???
Best for street. But te flippy not good for street at all. Why not use tilt or flippy+tilt or 2way tilt.
This is why i go for z6-2. Plan on getting z7-4 in the future (if it use flippy again) ill get z8-2

Damn true! XT5 build quality is way Cheaper than my XT-2. Malbe reason why is now Made in China they want to cut down the cost.
Ive just purchased the Nikon Zf coming from the 12 years with Fujifilm last one being the x pro 3 one thing I do miss is the film sims
This Nikon Zf has that LOvely Black and White dial switch which is Perfect for street photography. Too bad you miss that part!!
What is the main camera used to capture your talk track in this video? GoPro?
Fujifilm x-h2s

@@tediumformat thanks. Quick coloring on Davinci
The shutter sound is from Nikon or did you use a previously reordered one Fujifilm camera?
Oh no this is just a shutter sound from stocks sorry 😆

I got it for review so did not purchase it per say
Are you switching from fujifilm? 😢😢😢
Oh I don’t think so 🤔
Overall I still prefer the Fuji. But I do enjoy testing stuffs.
@@ThierryGibralta 🫡🫡🫡 ok sir 😄😄
how is video quality and af compared to xh2s / xt5?
I haven’t tested it enough to be able to answer at the moment but will keep it in mind

I have the zf as well. I love everything about this camera - except that the screen is not color accurate vs what you see in computer afterwards 😣
Interesting. What kind of color shift do you see?

@KanaievenTokyo i see. Any settings in camera that you saw that managed to make it better?
@@ThierryGibralta ended up making a style on capture one to alleviate this :).
looks great
Oh no! He's switching. 😂
Ahah no just testing. Gotta keep an open mind ^^
