Not only at BBSR. This cyclone had destroyed whole the Biridi Block of JAGATSINGHPUR district. At that time i was working at biridi tahasil. It was so difficult to manage the public after the cyclone gone.That was toughest period of my service....

It seems people don't take cyclones seriously. Why were people outside . You cannot have roofs with thatched roofs...tin roofs etc . You must have concrete roofs to withstand this. The govt must help and see to this. Be serious because cyclones can make lives hell.

Mostly because MET Dept predicted it WRONG. They said winds will be 50 km/hr in BBSR. But when it happened it was definitely near 180/200.
