lovely video! thanks for sharing your experience with us. if i may offer you a piece of advice, from my point of view: you could turn the music down a bit to be more or less at the same volume as your voice. have a good day!
Did u only happen to stay there and not go explore the city or something? I been wanting to do Workaway possibly next year I want a flexible one where I can work at house garden etc and have some time of the day to explore the city or whatever
Hey :) I didn’t go explore the city because I was quite deep in the countryside and I was only there for about a week. The other Workaway’s I’ve done I had time to go explore the city and visit neighbouring countries 😌
So ...A guy found you attractive, he touched your arm, and flirted with you? Yeah...So he wasn't your type. If he was Tom Cruz and sported a rolex...he'd be your type? 🤔 See...THAT'S why men are walking away feom relationships. The French dude had no issues with making it known that he was interested...YOU had the issues. You simply could have said "I have a boyfriend, and made up some story about how you're going to be married next year...blah, blah, blah" ... But honestly? Seriously? Why not take a video of him next time and post it on TikTok? ALL the girls are doing it now....🤣
Hey James. I see my video really triggered something for you. To put into context about this interaction it was more than just a guy finding me attractive (which I have no problem with) He was asking question like am I alone? How long will I be in the country? Am I meeting anyone? where am I staying? which I think is a little too much at first meet, especially for a solo female traveller. He also proceeded to take pictures of me and follow me out of the train station after I had moved seats from feeling uncomfortable. I was not rude to him at all as I don't think that is my nature or a mature way to handle these kind of situations. I did tell him I was married as I always wear a ring on my finger while travelling but that didn't stop the "uncomfortable" interaction. It has nothing to do with his looks or money as both things are quite shallow, don't you think? I also come from a very dangerous city so I have learnt how to distinguish between friendly flirting and a little more than that. I don't think filming him and putting it on TikTok as you suggested is valid or the right thing to do, that's why I decided to just remove myself from the situation without creating a scene. All the best :) wish you well :)
