Hey guys from Mochila Cheia! I watched your Filipino series before coming the Philippines. I am also Brazilian, I here in Cebu since the lockdown. Both finnsnow and you inspired me to fisit this place. You guys are great content creators. Filivibes!
I hope the local gov’t should implement some rules that will protect this natural beauty and gem of Alegria, so locals and tourist could work hand in hand to preserve this Amazing Jewel of Alegria only in Cebu, Philippines 🇵🇭
Don't worry The LGU have already implemented rules & regulations before opening this amazing gem. Even the the Lady governor of Cebu is pro environment.
Our family is from Carcar, Cebu and in my younger days, my father would drive me & by land travel in all the nook and corner of the province and even in Mindanao telling me, you don't learn everything within the 4 walls of a classroom. My Professor at UP Diliman, Dr. Bruce, would tell us that the Philippines is the richest country with its natural resources and bloggers like you, are blest to discover some of these hidden natural resources not to mention, the minerals. In Cebu, there are still as many hidden treasures of natural beauty that needs to be developed and while it can boost the economy of the locality, I can only pray that it won't be exploited both by Local Leaders & the people BUT preserve nature's pristine beauty and its environment. Thank U for sharing your video, been hiking this place but didn't know the area. It's a long stretch of water artery.

Ks seminiano,i respect your opinion maam, but in my point of view. Japan is one of the worlds most expensive countries. To take selfies will it do some justice to the extent of the cost of travel. I dont think so. There must be enough reasons.......that lure travelers without a blink of an eye regardless of cost. While here in ph. We are kind of underated compared to asean rivals. For expats in dgte. They are here for cheap and affordability, with which they have come to embrace the beauty of our culture 2nd and later on appreciated our nature as one of the best.

Ka-inggit! Cebu province is packed with beaches, waterfalls, trecking. You guys don't need a travel pass to go around. Us in Manila have to get travel pass to be able to go around nearby beaches and provinces. Sus! That's why Cebu is a multi-awarded tourist destination.
One guilty Pinoy here, Luisa. Been to Bicol last 1970s pa. I remember kids then call private cars 'ispesyal! Ispesyal''. If I'm not mistaken though, nature spots in provincial Cebu is just an hour away or at least less time for us residing in Manila to get to Bicol, Sagada, Vigan, even Baguio. That's just what I meant. But Luzon is just as beautiful and offers so much.

Wow , I didn't know that their exist a place like these in Alegria , the place is still unexplored , blue water , lush greenery ...what a beautiful sight..thanks for sharing this video...♥️♥️♥️
This place has been very popular already to many tourists, local or foreign for many years especially after Biyahe ni Drew featured this some years ago. No place in Cebu is unexplored as Cebu is small and highly populated. Paved roads crisscrossed the mountains across the island making almost every natural attraction is quite accessible to all with any type of vehicle. This place is only about 800 meters from the mountain road so it's very easy to access. There are houses nearby as well. It appears empty now because of the pandemic but it is actually one of the most visited attractions in southern Cebu as this is one of the two major canyoneering routes aside from Kawasan in Badian.
Thank you lionhearted1969 for these additional info...no wonder tourist always frequent Cebu as a tourist destination...I appreciated it very much...♥️♥️♥️
Wow, crystal clear waters! I hope that when it opens, they will regulate the probable large number of visitors - and I am sure because the place is amazing - since overcrowding might destroy the beauty of the river.

The main source of water of Kawasan in Badian is the water coming from Cancalanog Falls in Alegria. Going down you will end up at the starting site of Kanlaob River where the original and canyooneering started way back when canyooneering is new to locals.
