8 años estuvo trabajando Verastegui en realizar esta película con la cual trata de salvar vidas y luchar contra el tráfico de niños.
El actor mexicano actualmente atraviesa por una etapa en donde las críticas sobran, pero nos dice que así como el avión vuela con el viento en contra, así es como el sigue adelante.

Gracias Eduardo por este proyecto. Estoy orgullosa de ti. Me he enterado que ya se trabaja en la 2nd película sobre la vida de Tim y su rescate en Haití. Quiero pedirte un gran favor. Espero que puedas encontrar un personaje para dárselo a Jonathan Roumie. Tener a Jim y a Jonathan en la misma película sería fabuloso! Algo que a todos los que los conocemos nos gustaría ver. La película tiene un valor humano profundo , me impacto cuando paran al traficante en la frontera y cuando Tim , el agente abre la puerta del van , le pregunta a ese niño pequeño su nombre y le dice osito Teddy y Tim , le dice , no ese nombre. tu nombre de verdad y senti que el niño percibió bondad y que lo iban a ayudar, pensar que esa criaturita fuera abusada , sientes que te se encoge el corazón. Que Dios los Bendiga a todos...
