- In this video, we are showcasing The Rubi DX250 1400 Wet Saw. Its been a dream for us the last few years and saved us time money and health.
We are moving onto the next level with a new foundation and some block work it seems that it is still a very popular choice by the consumer, I always wonder if Sandstone will make a comeback and give this product a run for its money again, We will see.
I would love to get some feedback from you and listen to your thoughts about Porcelain, would it be your choice?
Let me know as I really value your feedback and I hope you enjoy the video, please don't forget to subscribe.

Just bought the 1200 version to find my garden very impressed. Surprised how much water they hold and how much flows over the tiles to the floor.
Do you use the cleaning blocks to redress the blades?
I got the blocks bud
Can you do a step by step video, on how to price a job properly? and easiest way thanks
Can do Callum
If the blade was in the wrong way around it shou be much better the right way, I guess you didn't have any issues with it.
You dont hear my last name too often as its not so much common place but here's a fun fact for you.
Ballykissangel and another drama called roughnecks were written by my uncle amongst a number of episodes on programs like The bill, Perfect scoundrels and indeed Boon.
Thats interesting Tom, thank you for sharing Sir.
Which blade is best?
Well Rubi hard and Duro works for me and Elite Stone Tools do a great one
Nice 1 Johnny. Do you use any the extensions tables for when cutting say 900 slab when hanging over edges.
Been waiting on the rep getting from Rubi that was 4 weeks poor as there blade they sell just for porcelain is horrendous cut 10 tiles then would do no more and would re sharpen. Still try this blade on saw if can get 1. As for the grinder it has lasted hundreds of cut on porcelain 10mm tiles and the slabs. Ellite stone blade hasn’t lasted any more than 30-40 cuts for me. Have diatech blade cuts great but seemed to be slipping on saw may need re try this as may not be tight as spoke to diatech rep and said there designed for table saw. Hope it’s good when put back as cuts with ez and more efficient and faster to anything else a have tried so far.
I got one bud but not used it yet, you need to just drop them a message about it and they will listen mate, hope you are well?

Am good buddy. A have dropped email they asked for my number but still waiting.
Have a job coming up with 4 sizes of porcelain but it doesn’t look like they can be done on a random pattern just straight lines think they will be going back.
915mmx610
305mmx305
610mmx305
610mmx610mm.
Looks as though though doing this random you will be adding 5mm past the big tile once installed 5mm. Joint.
Have had any issue with this in the past Johnny company say it may have to be a linea pattern. But surely false advertising when so a random pattern
@@lmilne4859 if you’re looking for an extension table try www.buybrandtools.com they have a good selection and delivery in 2 days.

Johnny goin off subject what is the best wet look sealer for sandstone you would recommend plz mate
Hi Mike that’s fine, try Elements Shield
Lovelly stuff Johnny boy . We got the smaller one 1200mm a must for us is ear defenders , sponge and bucket and gloves , we wash down the bed with sponge every cut as well as the tile , we found if you don't the slithers and sludge from the tile you just cut sit under the next tile just enough to knock the tile out of line ? Only marginally but enough to throw the cut out ? Keep safe mate and all the best 👍🙏 top stuff mate
Great tips buddy yeah ear defenders are essential.
Great Point
